1.It was created by Nigerians hence its affinity.

2. You can spot a flaw in queen's English whereas pidgin's flow is impeccable...

That does not mean that we should be overly engrossed in the use of pidgin English.

Too bad, some people even feel intimidated when you speak English to them. They'll say you are 'forming'.
Speak good English! You may make mistakes, but you will improve with time.

What I have observed is dt nt every in d higher institution can express him/herself correctly... So pidgin is d best tin to use a cover up... moreover, Nigerians stl use pidgin even in official ground

Because most of them can barely speak proper english and instead of them to endeavour working on their english, they're lazy and go with pidgin as a short-cut.

Sad!

Go to the staff rooms of public secondary schools in the South South, where Pidgin is the lingua franca, it's Pidgin most teachers use in communication.

For some reason, I express myself better speaking in good English. I dislike pidgin because it kills the ability for usage of good English. Some are sweet to the hearing which are- Warri and Benin pidgin.

But

To me, Nothing like good polished English, I listen to your spoken English to determine your level of intelligence, More complex words/terms you know, More intelligent you tend to be.

Pidgin also kills the ability for writing good sentences without using shorthand, And for me, if I get to chat you up as a cute girl and you the type that uses short hand, it kills the vibe for you and you would no longer appeal to me anymore. In the case of a guy, I won't even keep up chat with you unless we talking very important issue.

what is sad about it?, communication is what matters, that's the essence of language, so does speaking pidgin make one inferior or what? in a formal setting use it, anything else na pidgin sure pass, miss grammarian....even the good book tells us the language is defiled.
