The company formed to receive cavalry, but the CAVALRY ADVANCING deployed to the right and left when within musket range and unmasked a body of seven hundred NEGRO INFANTRY, all armed with muskets, who opened fire on our men, wounding two lieutenants and two privates, and rushing forward surrounded the company of Germans who cut their way through killing six of the negroes and wounding several more. The main body, hearing the firing, advanced at a double-quick in time to recover their wounded, and drive the enemy back, but did not succeed in taking any prisoners. The wounded men TESTIFY POSITIVELY that they were shot by Negroes, and that not less than seven hundred were present, armed with musket 1st pic fought for the South.https://myscv./category/war-between-the-states/ They weren't nurses, grooms, footmen and auxiliaries but fighters. The entire race history of the US must be rewritten. Also our assumptions on class don't hold true.

The REAL HISTORY of US blacks is long and complicated and I can only touch on it briefly. Fyi,Abraham Lincoln was actually mulatto as can be seen in this extremely rare US library of Congress record and he wasn't the first black leader while the first American killed in the anti Brit riots of the 1770 was a Black American,Crispus Attucks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6csH779lM7g More black vets.

Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by tdayof(m): 4:14pm On Apr 30, 2017 |
MikeCZA: Chinese made yes and jointly funded. Funding should include TOT etc blablabla.. Someone said it's about giving the Chinese access to the F-16 |
Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by Nobody: 4:28pm On Apr 30, 2017 |
tdayof:its more like joint production. chinese access to F16 is something i would take it with a pinch of salt as the americans would chew the ******** up big time , its got more to do with ********* giving the Chinese exposure to western aerial warfare tactics , SOPs , operational concepts etc. |

tdayof: I also wanted to bring that up. All I've seen in the videos and pictures are Chinese engineers and pilots. Is the JF-17 jointly funded or jointly produced? It kinda looks like it is jointly funded. |

Henry240: don't mention it again and don't say it too loud if it reaches.............. be ready to bear the consequences jokes aside developing a fighter is not a childs play something which the indians have learnt at a great cost of both money and time. u need to have a corresponding civilian industrial complex to support such endeavors. in reality the military industrial complex is a poor cousin to the civilian industrial complex. 1 Like |

nemesis2u: I don't see anything there to be ashamed of, as long as there is still TOT at the end. However we have to be honest with ourselves, the JF-17 is a Chinese plane. |
Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by Nobody: 5:16pm On Apr 30, 2017 |
nemesis2u: You have to have the economy and a highly skilled work force to develop a fighter jet. The Chinese have this in abundance. |
Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by Nobody: 5:21pm On Apr 30, 2017 |
Henry240: what ashamed ? i never mentioned anything about being ashamed tell me this (a general life question) u r a owner of a garage and a good mechanic and i give u the TOT for a car engine what good will it do to u ? now think this in respect of a country unless u have the eco system in place to absorb and put into practice the TOT with reasonable economical feasibility , it is useless. it takes 25-30 years and billions of dollars to create a aviation ecosystem strong enough to absorb full spectrum TOT and even then it will struggle becz technology is always evolving. |

Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by Nobody: 5:31pm On Apr 30, 2017 |
nemesis2u: They already have 1.4 billion of them, and that's only mainland China. If we add Taiwan, Hongkong and Macau that number is expected to swell. Probably kidnap 5 million of them to work in the highly skilled sectors of the economy. |

Tactical Approach Lighting System (TALS) it is a field deployable, manportable, solid-state, battery-powered lighting system that provides both infra-red and visible light sources. Light Units can be fully configured and operated via a UHF radio Remote Control Unit up to a typical range of 5km, or configured and operated manually. Illumination is provided over a hemispherical area by LED light sources. In infra-red mode the Light Units are NVG-compatible. The primary purpose of the TALS is to indicate landing and drop zones, forward arming and refuelling points, and can also be used for both covert and overt infiltration/ex-filtration operations. Such systems are fully NATO-codified. A system consists of the following and is contained and transported in a backpack: one Remote Control Unit, six Light Units, six Ground Spikes (for deploying Light Units), one Universal input Battery Charger, and one Backpack which houses all the system units. The system provides sufficient Lights for a minimum operating strip (MOS) for fixed-wing aircraft or marking out a ‘T’ formation, typically used for helicopters. If a larger or more complex layout is required then any number of packs can be combined, and may be remote-controlled by single or multiple controllers either from on the ground or from in the air.
