Seriously ?

What's the point of having an airforce with fighter jets with zero ground attack capabilities tongue tongue tongue

All these fancy terms of pacifism, self defence force is only for people who want to believe such stuff.

Meet the commanders of jieitai , and any illusions will evaporate fast grin

Things written on paper r most of the time on paper only. Real world never forgives unreal expectations.
You don’t have to be shady about everything, I asked a genuine question, if you have an answer for me then quote me.

A Pakistan Navy ATR72-212A was seen outside the hangars after a testflight. Rheinland Air Service (RAS) was awarded a contract by the Pakistan Navy to convert two ATR72s for anti-submarine warfare (ASW) in 2016. The contract contained the re-configure of two Pakistani ATR72s, with the first one delivered by the end of 2017. Serial 79 is the first ATR with RAS, the second is expected in April 2018. So the planned delivery of the first is a little delayed, but should be imminent now.

To be brutally honest, the Nigerian Navy have no offensive capability. We don't have the capacity to engage foreign aggression.

our 76mm guns, though quite impressive with its Rate Of Fire. however, it is grossly inadequate.

We need missiles on our vessels.

having 4-6 P18N corvette and two formidable multi-mission type frigate is the minimum requirement.

thought we were reactivating our FAC/missile boat

As I always say never follow the narrative being dished out.

Japan is now looking to add ski jumps turning it into a full fledged carrier in support of f35b.

Also the deck and the lifts from the design stage was designed to support fighter aircrafts .

So still defensive helicopter carrier as claimed publicly ?

In this world 99% is hidden and barely 1% revealed.

there's a difference between available capability and operational capability.

having carriers capable of deck based ops is one thing and actually doing that on a day to day basis is another thing.

Japan will need to operationalize deck based fighter ops before they can realise the potential of the carriers.

Chinese having tough time despite the photo ops , now ended up asking Russian help wrt to carrier ops in the guise of joint carrier training ops or something like that.

i don't think its rocket science to vertical land a F-35B STOVL as compared to landing a F-18 on a carrier deck
