LKF601E Air Cooling Airborne AESA radar for JF-17 Thunder/ FC-1 has been unearthed !

Speculated Range of about 170-180 km, radar can track, lock and target its opponent even in worst weather conditions.

This Radar is able to track and target 15, and simultaneously engage 4 opponent aircrafts with the Radar Guided Missiles. As per the specifications, LKF601E is far superior when compared to American AN/APG68-V9 Radar placed on the Legendary F-16 Fighter Aircraft.

LKF601E can be fitted with ease(on the Aircraft) even on an Airbase, without going to the retrofiring and overhauling factory due to it simpler yet ultra modern Engineering.

This Radar can easily be fitted on the existing as well as old Block of JF-17 i.e both on JF-17 Block 1 and JF-17 Block 2 without any Structural change or Radar Nose modification.

Its most likely that Pakistan Airforce would be Upgrading its entire existing fleet of JF-17 Thunder with LKF601E Air Cooling Airborne AESA radar.

That's some advanced engineering to squeeze high performance AESA radar onto the nose cones of existing JF17s. Some computational power and engineering skills to route cooling air effectively over those high power electronics.

Lolzzz

RPG 7 can't take down a t72

HEAT rounds r the most common type utilized everywhere

By the way HEAT stands for high explosive anti tank

The shape charge will go through the exposed rear like a hot knife through butter , and if the jet even nicks or sets the hydraulics etc on fire the Ammo bustle of the autoloader , the whole tank will be toast in seconds due to ammo cook off.

2-3 RPG7s together can even take out a t72 from the front . 1st to blast the ERA tiles away and then hit the exposed portion again to penetrate the base armour.

And I am not even talking about the tandem warhead RPGs

no point posting in the relevant thread , best to avoid mud slinging

For those who want to know I leave it here, ur choice

The sad thing about all these is as early as 2008 intel warnings were issued in the public about terrorist attacks through sea routes based on sea equipments and training being sourced by terror groups in pa......

But as always empathy by bureaucrats and politicians made sure that the attack went through.

Next time if such attacks happen one can be sure that people in power in in.... and their families will also pay the price.

The message was clearly communicated over the last few years. If the lives of common citizens r expendable , so r their lives.

Training comes with many aspects. Nigeria may not have the funds to buy the most effective weapons but they can be maximised to make effective use of what they already have. If our doctrine had evolved to specifying minimum requirements for setting up FOBs, then probably we run less risk of overrun. code of practices regarding stocks and ammo would ensure no resupply for an advancing army. Saying that, we do need few weapons to make our position better.

A FOB with thrice stacked hesco barriers may find it less problematic dealing with suppressive fire from an AAA than a minimal fenced, trenched fob. Tanks may not be best but we only have as much armour. At the end of the day, it is about using the best out of what we have. At Deir Ez zor, it was T72s flanked by AAA and another T72 which worked perfectly. Our use of a single deployed tank may not be the best. Add the terrain too.

Saudi with the best equipment is still considered terrible against easily adaptable guerilla warfare.

Fluidity of the conflict zone will make solution (s) redundant with time.

Solution (s) and counter solution (s) is a 2 way street , applicable to both the military and the hostiles

Whoever is at the top of their game wrt solution (s) will triumph.
