I simply used d mtk engineering app, edited it by replacing the bb imei I was using with my the tecno nd it worked... I confirmed it using *#06#

Restore factory settings or check the back of your phone for the original imei.

Most time ur phone says imei corrupted and u take it for repair and the solution is to change the Imei, so because it not ur own Imei u will not repair ur phone.

I changed my infinix hot 2 then cos of glo bb plan. Now I want to go back to its initial state when I bought it so I can be getting updates. Please how do u go about it??

Your original imei should be at the back of the phone when you remove the battery

Download mtk engineering or mobile uncle tool to access engineering mode if the code used didn't work on your phone
