My dear honourable Senators, please go and tell the Federal High Court these stories about how a few Senators have the right to change the Senate rules overnight. The Attorney General of the Federation is the wrong person to talk to, harass or intimidate. You should be doing all these at the Federal High Court. Very soon, I know that very very soon, you will invite the Chief Justice of Nigeria just as you invited the CCT Chairman to explain why Oshiomhole and Tinubu's wives are more beautiful than Mama Piss imPatience Jonathan.

I know that one day, one very day, in the very near future, we Nigerians will wake up to read from the papers that EFCC has locked up all the 109 Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You can all then go and show your punching, slapping and shouting skills at EFCC detention.

Oboi u dey vex oooo grin

Please o forgery is corruption and a Crime but let look at it holistically a section of the constitution gives the senate or house the power to deal with issues independently without interference from the other arms of government i don't support forgery. what is wrong with this nitwits we call government if the senators says they are OK with it and says there was no forgery then there is no case let the judiciary and the executives just let the legislators be it killing the country but politicians are selfish on both side of the divide and here is stupid change we voted for, pdp and apc brothers from the same mother fantastically corrupt mother ,buhari as confirmed he is clueless am sorry he has nothing to offer let vote for another apart from the same old looters

Ovamboland:
The legislators cannot be prosecuted for validly passed laws neither can they be charged to court for taking any position on a matter up for discussion or voting on the floor of the house.

However any one involved in forgery can be prosecuted by law enforcement. That's why Nigerians should learn to vote people of impeccable character to represent them. Then no power can blackmail them with any past or present shady dealings.

If the Senate principal officers are illegally charged to court it makes no sense to summon the prosecutor just because they have the power to do that. They should just plead lack of jurisdiction at the court and ask for the case to thrown out. Why are they seeking our pity? Where we consulted when they decided not to face their main opponent in a fair contest by hiding in a car boost

Tanx much sir. They claimed they didn't know the rules were forged, but they are beneficiaries and refused to hand over stolen offices.

Question:

1) Can you eat your cake and still have it? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Saraki and Ekweremadu cannot have it both ways: it is either you knew the rules were forged either you partook in it or not but resign amicably OR be charged for a conspiracy to forge the rule; beneficiary of stolen offices etc etc.

2) Can the duo of Saraki and his vice claim ignorance of the forged rule book used in electing them as principal officers and a couple of days later still went ahead distributing the old rule book used by the 7th senate to the newly sworn-in members/

The buck stops at Sen. Saraki's table in making sure that frauds committed within the senate goes unpunished. And since he is the direct beneficiary of the said fraud, the ONLY honorable thing he could have done is to resign peacefully and re-contest for the position.

Peace!

What you cannot get in the floor of the senate, you cannot get it in the law court. Senators, if you don't stand now and exercise your constitutional powers, there will be a serious chaos. This is breach of constitutional power, if the AGF has respect for rule of law, and know what he is doing, that case is not suppose to be in court. The senators are independent and has the order that addresses all issue in the house. But because there is something somewhere biting the drums for the AGF, that is why he is showing too much power. Senate summoned him and he obnoxiously told them that they don't have the power to summon him, what a shame to the Nigerian democracy.

It is the senate that will tell Nigerians that their order was forged, not the executive, not the AGF, not the judiciary. And they (the senate) have a way of doing that. Meanwhile, this is not the first time senate standing rule has been changed, so why is this one different? Because the senators did not elect or choose who the executive and the cabals of the party want as the leader of the senate.

Omo, at this rate these guys could fraudulently amend our constitution without us knowing. Also, I noticed they ain't saying the standing order was not forged, but that it's a private affair Lol, honorable senators indeed!
