See how these people are playing politics with the destiny of 180 million people.

They should stop this madness and focus on governance.

APC should put their house in order. they have tried many things on Saraki but its not working for over a year now. rather his popularity amongst his colleagues is growing.

PMB will continue this fight or pretend not to be interested till they bring up his certificate issue.

impeaching him will be so easy cos we all know he doesn't have.

they were able to quiet the Igbo boy that started that case but if Saraki picks up that card. it will be last card for Buhari.

he should face governance. they have just 3 years to go.
Incoherent, confused loser!

You must think we're talking of impeaching the Chairman of a social club here.

Jokers! wink cheesy

Chai this saraki led 8th sinate is the worst for now, dont let me say history yet.

The norm now is, take the sinate to court, get invited to the senate, show them prove and evidence first before they can appear in court.

This 8th sinate has turn herself to a court of law. Bunch of jobless legislooters.

I believe the senate has the right and sole power to amend its standing rules, but it shouldn't be done in very irregular way. So if there was any forgery I don't know but one thing I know for sure is that every person is answerable to AGF when it comes to criminal acts or offences. Therefore the saraki and ekwe should go court to explain themselves, since there is no immunity guaranteed to them as principals officers.

AGF is acting on behalf of the dullardo in aso rock. He's just a puppeteer keeping the Bulls in aso rock entertained. The Senate as an independent arm of the government should not succumb to any pressure from the executive using the judiciary. We all know that this forgery case is just to distract the legislature from carrying out its statutory functions.

The truth is this : Buhari is fighting Saraki through the AGF and wants to bring him down by every possible means.why? Because Saraki is nt His choice for senate presidency. Am nt against dat. we called Gej Clueless,bt i can officially tell u dat Buhari is a dummy. He is nt aware of wat will happen to him in 2019 if he succeeds in making Saraki and Ekweremadu to step down.

What gives you impression that Buhari has any interest for 2019? And if he does, are you thinking he is desperate for it? because if he is he won't have got to do all these.

This was the same opportunity Gej had to deal with these people and forget about 2015 but he was too desperate for reelection which he latter lost both side.

My dear honourable Senators, please go and tell the Federal High Court these stories about how a few Senators have the right to change the Senate rules overnight. The Attorney General of the Federation is the wrong person to talk to, harass or intimidate. You should be doing all these at the Federal High Court. Very soon, I know that very very soon, you will invite the Chief Justice of Nigeria just as you invited the CCT Chairman to explain why Oshiomhole and Tinubu's wives are more beautiful than Mama Piss imPatience Jonathan.

I know that one day, one very day, in the very near future, we Nigerians will wake up to read from the papers that EFCC has locked up all the 109 Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You can all then go and show your punching, slapping and shouting skills at EFCC detention. IDIIOOOTS

This group of senators is a fraudster! So, a stupid father of some children called himself senator can come out and tell us that forgery case is not exist...if the case is not exist, why is it he(saraki) begging the AGF to drop from charges against him? why saraki lamented that he didn't know that the rules was forged?

These senators are bunch of fools!!!

The NASS has the mechanism to regulate its internal workings hence does not need Executive order to right their wrongs (if any).

Yes, and give immunities to its officers bah?
Anyway, Buhari caused these for himself. He should have shown keen interest to whoever becomes principal officers in the National Assembly. His holier than thou folly is the cause of all these brouhaha.

The legislators cannot be prosecuted for validly passed laws neither can they be charged to court for taking any position on a matter up for discussion or voting on the floor of the house.

However any one involved in forgery can be prosecuted by law enforcement. That's why Nigerians should learn to vote people of impeccable character to represent them. Then no power can blackmail them with any past or present shady dealings.

If the Senate principal officers are illegally charged to court it makes no sense to summon the prosecutor just because they have the power to do that. They should just plead lack of jurisdiction at the court and ask for the case to thrown out. Why are they seeking our pity? Where we consulted when they decided not to face their main opponent in a fair contest by hiding in a car boost

Chairman of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Senator David Umaru pronounced the Senate’s stand today saying, “We are not disputing the fact that the AGF holds the power to institute or discontinue any criminal proceeding but the section that states that the AGF should act in consonance with public interest is the bottom line.”

And the public overwhelmingly wants them prosecuted or are you deaf and/or blind?

How did Nigeria end up with these clowns as Representatives?
