Don't dare to put it off bro, a scammer is obviously trying to pull a fast one on you.
This is how they do it, they already have a contact of someone close to you. Could be a close friend of yours or a relative. Once your number is switched off, they call him/her to extort money.

I shutdown my phone every night before going to bed. so whether it's from glo or not, just do whatever you like.

Lol people are funny tho, there are different means by which isp's carry out system upgrade, this is just a new method from glo, its not a scam or whatsoever, its just like wen u subscribe on a BB and u are asked to remove ur battery and put it back on to gain internet access. Nigerians and d word SCAM sha grin
