You are making one very vital mistake. Majority of Americans see themselves as Conservatives or conservative-leaning. They voted for Obama because they thought he was middle of the road. Reality has now hit them in the face that he is as leftist as can be. His problem today is not with Republicans but with the Democrats. A good number of them understand that the people don't want what Obama wants and are now going to stand with their people and not the President.

Let them come out with a bill that mirrors the values of Americans and the bill will pass with good support. So far, they have done none of that.

And as you noted, support for Obama's healthcare reform keeps dropping everytime he appears on TV. He is overdoing it this weekend and it is going to kill him. He can't charm his way with the American people anymore. He is no longer the innocent looking and believable guy that Americans' pictured during the election. He basically cannot be trusted!

What you have failed to realise is that those charges did not stick on him throughout the campaign. He spoke middle of the road with a mantra of change that no one could really point at. He was a chameleon who couldn't show his true colours then. Now that the wind is blown and the fowl yansh is revealed, many are now not sure that this was the yansh they had in mind.

I've never given money to a political campaign, including Obama's but las night I donated to Rep. Alan Grayson's campaign because I feel like his the only Dem with gots.
