Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that EPL players overall rating isn't as good as those from the Bundesliga or La Liga? I usually have to check carefully before adding to my team or the teams Attack/Defence goes down.

So far Rooney and Terry have been my best ones. Ozil, despite being like an 88, does nothing for the Attack, even after plenty training.

Effectiveness of a player is League independent. The likes of Casemiro, Bosquet, Kovacic etc are not Premier League players and their effect on a team is so low. My 30-year old 4* A. Rabiot(PSG) @85 have same effect with my 6* training cone-boosted Evriti @90 aged 25

@Top Player level 16, you'll need an OTR >850 to promote. Even though there will be user teams with OTR lesser than yours (3 user teams will have OTR range of 850-890->900), you still won't be able to promote. Once your OTR is above 850, other user teams in your next season (after attaining 850) will have OTR lesser than 835. Your OTR will be the highest

If these guys are in my scouting list I'm selling them sharp sharp! I think I've had at least one of those guys on my team, didn't last the season and sold him. Right now I have Depay and I have to say he's exceptional.

I now feel I have to phase out some 5 star players for an exceptional 5 star player (e.g. Braña) or go for 6 star ones. And I'm struggling to get my best players past 91. So far the highest I've gotten any player is 96.

I actually enjoy the Association events, but this was the first time I was hardly able to participate. Still, the rewards though

Question: when's the best time to introduce a new player? I tend to bring them in at the beginning of the season or just before the training period. And there's usually some overlap between them and the player who's being retired/sold.

Balance is the best but you can go for "technique" to increase player's overall rating
