Let me start by stating Palestine is a very dear country to me. I have friends who have lost family members to the Israeli government. The issue of Palestine and Israel isn't just about religion, it has a lot to do with politics as well. It also has a lot to do with race. Arabs vs Israelis

What is Israel?

Israel is a Zionist state, which was meant to be solely for Jews. It was built more for the White Jews than other Jews, and there have been documentations of discrimination faced Jews of other nationality especially by African Jews. Last year or two years ago there was massive protest that by African Jews who were tired of being discriminated against- Racist slurs- being called monkey, inability to get jobs, being beaten up were amongst the other things that were documented. If they are being racist and discriminating against their own Jewish brothers, what guarantees you that there aren't discriminating against non-Jews. The Prime minister has many times made statements against non- Jews.

Secondly, my cousin who is a Christian went to do her masters in Isreal- She herself made mentions of the discrimination she faced. She said she would ALWAYS go to sleep crying but the only thing that kept her going was that she remembered where she was coming from (ie her family).

To say that Israel is the only country in the Middle East where Christians are not being extinct is completely unfair. There are countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Qatar, UAE amongst others where Christians live amongst the population. These countries have churches, mosques and other religious site where people pray. I won’t deny that there might be isolated incidences in certain countries against Christians but the is the same in other countries as well. In France about a year ago a PREGNANT woman was killed because she was a Muslim there are islamophobic attack attacks in the UK and even in CAR – the Christian were prosecuting Muslims (fellow indigenes) and chasing them away from their own land.

You mentioned Pakistan and Afghanistan; these countries are known to have mixed religion with culture. They attack people who oppose their views including Muslims. Have you heard of any incidence where a bible was burnt in Qatar? In the Qatari law it is a CRIME to insult Islam, Christianity or Judaism.


If Israel was such a Christian friendly country what about the Palestinian Christians that are being arrested, boomed and killed? Do you think they ask for religion before bombing schools? Do they ask for religion before they demolish homes of innocent people? Do they ask for religion before chasing people away from their homes or purposely destroying farms? They are the ONLY country in the world that practice collective punishment which is illegal under international law. They placed an embargo on the people living in Gaza! They do not allow foodstuff, materials, and other things to pass through their boarders. They arrest their children and rape women (you can look for documentaries of Israeli soldiers who confess to being ORDERED to commit these crimes).

Aren’t Palestinians humans? Don’t they deserve a normal life like everyone else? Are their bloods cheap? Do they not have a right to defend themselves? Do they not have the right to fight back? If Ghana suddenly decided to chase Nigerians out of Nigeria, would we sit back and watch? Won’t we stand up for ourselves?

The atrocities committed by the Israeli army and government has been documented by the WHO and United Nation! In the 2014, the UN says at least 2,104 Palestinian died in 2014, including 1,462 civilians, of whom 495 were children and 253 women. There were strong evidences of war crimes committed by the Israeli Army.


Hamas might be called a terrorist organization but lets’ be honest, many times do you find Hamas accused (with evidences) of attacking other countries? History has shown that when people are pushed beyond limit, they fight back. During the black revolution in America when blacks were pushed to the walls, they fought back! Mandela was called a criminal and jailed, Muhammed Ali was jailed, Martin Luther King was jailed, and list goes on. Hamas is a result of that oppression. All Hamas is asking for is that Palestinians are should be allowed to live in peace and illegal settlements should be returned back to the Palestinians.


With regards to the accusation that Muslims rape women, I guess I should mention that Islam FORBIDS harming women, children, and the elderly during war. Islam forbids even the harming of trees at time of war. . Whoever who rapes a women has committed a sin and should be punished accordingly.

God says in the Qur’an “Allaah does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion nor drove you out of your homes. Verily, Allaah loves those who deal with equity”[al-Mumtahinah 60:8]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm.”
With regards to the holy sites in Israel, although these sites are meant to be protected- there have been Israeli soldiers attacking the Muslims in religious sites. Now, the press isn’t all free in Israel- Apart from the propaganda messages they carry, journalist who expose and disagree with the government are usually sent threats. If I find the link to the documentary, I will post it.

Lastly, life is not all about color of the skin, being right or being wrong, what religion or opinion someone else follows. There are times to put all these aside and stand up for what is right. There is more to life than the difference views and opinion we have. The world needs people to be more humane. Whilst we are here arguing about whether to support Israel or not, the Palestinians Muslims and Christians are standing together! I have never heard or read about dispute between them! They all just want to live a normal life like everyone else without being afraid of being arrested, murdered or tortured. I personally will never support Israel not because they want a Jewish state but because they are going about it the wrong way and they are oppressing innocent men, women, and children.

I repeat, I never said israel has a large christian population. . I said it has a growing Christian population, not going extinct. At about 2 percent as of this year. Far above what it would have been if it was a muslim country. Note that the muslim population in israel is 17 percent. Show me another islamic country with a jewish population of 5%, Or a free christian population that is not oppressed.

Madam, the Muslim population u see in Israel is not as a result of their tolerance. Intact it is far from it, the Muslims counted are Arabs located at Israeli occupied places like Gaza, Golan heights, Westbank etc. Mischieviously those occupied places are regarded as part of Israel by their govt. Althoung they are not part of Israel according to United Nations . I am a Christian but I know that Israeli govt is a terrorist govt harrassing Palestinian Arabs since 1948.

Apparently my friend u are not well informed about hamas. Did u know that hamas regularly smuggle weapons and bomb making materials from aid supplied by islamic countries. Even egypt bans supply of aids from their border to the Palestinians. . Egypt knows how dangerous Palestinians are..Jordan expelled Palestinians after they attempted to murder king hussein of jordan for a minor issue tho he was helping them..

Murdered scores of Israelis in knife attacks..a very touching case was A israeli american teenage girl who was murdered in her bed by a Palestinian man last month.. a girl that probably had no grasp of the conflict.. yet she was murdered and the Palestinians called the killer a martyr after the idf killed him in a standoff.. i guess he and others was killed for no reason..
