This multi billion naira 35MW facility will definitely boost the industrial economy of Kano State. Kudos to Ganduje for continuing this project started by the former governor.

Let the other side keep bombing and destroying.

Those that want progress, are building a greater future for themselves.

Time will tell.

Am pretty sure those states in the north especially the Hausa states will rise to find alternative to all this challenges on both fuel and power sector its good Late President Year Adua has done some job in the power sector as governor of Katsina state then the present government only need to finish those efforts .Its also encouraging steps taken by then Sokoto state governor Shehu Kangiwa in the oil sector @ the goroyo area saying then oil matter Is for future ( now ?) those people had forsight no doubt !

Each States Governor should adopt this kind of initiative in boosting domestic supply thereby relieving the pressure off the national grid

There are two hydro electric plants which had a planned combined capacity of 35MW from inception.

This should help

my own is what about the existing once, cant it be put to work, rather than all these storys of building new power plants everyday yet nothing is being achived.

A dam is simply a wall. If u look at the picture very well, you will see that a concrete embankment is about to be constructed. That is the dam.

A lot of people erroneously think dam is water. A dam is not a body of water.
