The former national ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has actually collapsed and only exiting in political meetings and on pages of Nigerian newspapers without any functional office.

Why is the PDP broke?
The PDP is broke, because the party's ATMs, Sambo Dasuki, former National Security Adviser (NSA) and former Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke are no longer available.
ATM Dasuki is in detention.
As a former Managing Director of Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company Limited (NSPMC), he would have printed more naira for the PDP.
