While "Ariwo Ko" video was trending on twitter, a fan asked if Adekunle Gold was actually shading Davido on the 'Ariwo Ko' track, another lady with the handle, Sharon Abraham suggested it was so, since the shoe fits his personality and Simi acknowledged the statement by retweeting it with her official Twitter handle.

Simi who was the only artiste featured in the Gold Album, has been heavily linked in the past, to be in a romantic relationship with the Headies award winner whose real name is Adekunle Kosoko, but has constantly slammed this reports as untrue
