As an after thought of today's Sunday school, I got thinking do I decided to ask. What is the difference between Miracles and Magic? How can one differentiate them? I will please appreciate bible based responses. |

Miracles are believed to be divine. Magic is believed to be secular. Both share same character of being 'out of the normal'. |

Miracle is something that mysteriously happen without human interference, while magic is something that happened through humans, call it tricks instead of magic.... Those things that happened in churches are not miracle but magic or tricks, it's the same with those tricks that babalawos perform...those are not miracle but magic or trick |

Miracle is unexpected occurence while magic is expected. Miracle is God given while magic is done with the help of shayatin (devils). Miracle is not 100 percent guaranteed while magic is sure bet. Miracle is long lasting while magic will surely backfire. Miracle will (most time) be a one in a life time thing but magic can easily be replicated. That's enough. 1 Like |

Miracle is an act of paranormal event as orchestrated by the "church", while Magic is an act of paranormal event as orchestrated by others. The Bible said that Jesus walked on water, I watched Dynamo walk on water, which one is magic or miracle? 1 Like |
