Nigeria police is one of the most useless security agencies in the world , where they will need dem they won't come or intervene but if it is to arrest a dog owner they won't hesitate and what has deploying of army got to do with this , what has happen mopols , combat police ..

God please help my community, restore peace to this food basket of imo state, give brains n common sense to our youths to be useful with their life, Awarra court area was once a peaceful & hospitable place to be, our major occupation is mainly farming and hunting until this "evil" oil was discovered in commercial quantity in our farmlands. Shell found the Africa largest deposit of gas in Assah but are yet to commence work on the proposed $3.5b gas plant because of greed among our leaders, insensitive of successive governments, there causing restiveness among our mainly illiterate youths. Watersmith petroman and other oil companies operating in my community are not helping matters. No good road network, no hospitals, no good school, and the worst of all no electricity. The few graduates are roaming about without jobs. God we need your intervention.

God please help us, my community is on fire. I still blame Shell and some greedy elders for all these happening now, right from when I was a kid till now Assa community have not benefited anything from SPDC. The Governor as the Chief Security Officer should please mount a permanent military base in any of these communities: Obile, Assa or Awarra in order to reduce or stop these killings.

Imo state has gone to the dogs....worst state in south east at present in all parameters

Instead of simply writing what we all know that there has been encroachment of cultists from Rivers State they are busy writing a long epistle. Wike has settled Don Wani who is the leader of a faction in Rivers State but the cultists have members in Ohaji/Egbema of Imo State and the cycle will continue until uprooted from the source in ONELGA Rivers State.

Awarra today is more or less a deserted community owing to cult clashes originating from Rivers State between Icelanders and Greenlanders with families being wiped but yet under reported by the media. The plight of Awarra people is the general plight of Orashi region of Niger Delta which includes parts of Imo and Rivers States. Oguta though a part of Orashi is quite different as a result of early education and self reliance but the cultists are gradually making some encroachment.
