Thanks for taking the trouble to explain to them. I think apart from Sorghum that is used to produce cheap beer in Nigerian - everything else in Nigeria is eaten nearly raw - from raw tubes (cassava, yams) that are cooked directly or milled at home - there is very little processing/manufacturing/value-addition that happens. The first part is strictly agriculture - while the second part (agro-processing/value-addition) is split btw Manufacturing & Service but can also called Agriculture as opposed to Industry & Services. For the purpose of calculating GDP (coming up with National Accounts) - UN Stats Division - has come up with way to classify this - https://unstats.un.org/unsd/publication/seriesm/seriesm_4rev4e.pdf For Example Agriculture, forestry and fishing This section includes the exploitation of vegetal and animal natural resources, comprising the activities of growing of crops, raising and breeding of animals, harvesting of timber and other plants, animals or animal products from a farm or their natural habitats. 01 Crop and animal production, hunting and related service activities This division includes two basic activities, namely the production of crop products and production of animal products, covering also the forms of organic agriculture, the growing of genetically modified crops and the raising of genetically modified animals. This division also includes service activities incidental to agriculture, as well as hunting, trapping and related activities. Group 015 (Mixed farming) breaks with the usual principles for identifying main activity. It accepts that many agricultural holdings have reasonably balanced crop and animal production and that it would be arbitrary to classify them in one category or the other. Agricultural activities exclude any subsequent processing of the agricultural products (classified under divisions 10 and 11 (Manufacture of food products and beverages) and division 12 (Manufacture of tobacco products)), beyond that needed to prepare them for the primary markets. However, the preparation of products for the primary markets is included here. The division excludes field construction (e.g. agricultural land terracing, drainage, preparing rice paddies etc.) classified in section F (Construction) and buyers and cooperative associations engaged in the marketing of farm products classified in section G. sufferNsmiling: 1 Like |

95% of Nairobi more good looking than most of Nigeria cities. Only 5% of landmass is occuppied by slums - alongs road reserves/valleys/forests - Nairobi has 3 main CBDS - and other mini-cbds - the whole city was planned. ABUJA - the artificial city with no life outside federal gov - that Abacha built in hurry to avoid another coup . You should have used that money to improve Lagos and all the other cities. Now seriously outside federal gov and maybe embassy - what is there in Abuja 68816419: |

rvp2018: Speaking of domestic flights,in case anyone forgot:When it comes to domestic air travel in Africa, Kenya’s capital Nairobi is king. According to travel data company Forward Keys, Nairobi’s domestic air travel recorded 22% growth in 2017, beating its closest competitors Tunis and Addis Ababa, which grew by 14% and 9% respectivel[/b]y. In addition, long-haul international flights to Nairobi grew by 8%, making it the only major African city where domestic air travel is outpacing international traffic.https://qz.com/africa/1059396/kenyas-capital-nairobi-has-recorded-the-highest-domestic-air-travel-in-africa/ While in Dangoteland the reverse is happening: Domestic airlines in Nigeria lifted a total of 3,287,310 passengers in the first six months of this year.http://www.atqnews.com/ng/nigerian-domestic-airlines-suffer-21/ 1 Like |

You've got jokes. Abuja richest in terms of cashflow what is that suppose to mean. Nairobi City - the whole city is more advanced than LEGCO city Abuja - where you get 1% of Nairobi being developed - I don't know. If Lagos cannot compete with Nairobi - how would Abuja even attempt? Nairobi in my view is 3rd after Joburg and Capetown in Sub Sahara Africa. Abuja the federal office of gov - CANNOT EVEN COMPETE with Mombasa - 2nd biggest city of Kenya 68816419: |

What make you think Nairobi is small - Nairobi city - without metro is huge - if we include the metro - then I bet it can even beat Lagos. Let your Abuja aim for Mombasa - maybe in 50yrs - first before it try the London of Africa - aka - NAIROBI. 68816419: |

Mombasa City - Kenya port & tourist city - mombasa port is now 4th busiest port in Africa - and one of the most efficient (after Durban I think). Abuja - the dead city in the rock - aim for Mombasa first - Nairobi is on another level - Multinational HQ of Africa. 1 Like |

rvp2018:lt's fourth busiest port of course, and it's a major port in East Africa , Nigeria is surrounded by the likes of Niger and Chad, and even within Nigeria the business activities are majorly focussed in the South, and yet the North is more populated. Nigeria however should be having more than 3 major ports in Africa. |

rvp2018:Nairobu county land mass 696 km2 (269 sq mi) vs Abuja occupies a land area of 7,753.9.sq km, nigga u should visit Nigeria one day and see for your self, Abuja is not only about CBD but about other areas which are equally developed. take Gwarimpa for distance, You need 2 hour(100 km ) to reach Garki 1(around cbd) , Abuja, Nigeria from Gwarinpa, Abuja, Nigeria , if you are traveling by car, and most of the places u come across b4 u get their are equally developed and this what Kenya is should learn from Nigeria cities. |

Stop lying; The ROck cannot be that big. ABUJA - according to wikipedia. Area[1] • Municipality 1,769 km2 (683 sq mi) • Land 1,728 km2 (667 sq mi) • Water 41 km2 (16 sq mi) • Urban 713 km2 (275 sq mi) Nairobi:The Greater Nairobi Metropolitan Region covers 11,734 square miles (30,390 square kilometers). Nairobi County [city] covers 690Kmsq...but built up area extend towards a large metro...that is even bigger than LAGOS...if my googling is right. Try Mombasa city - and your Abuja Aso Rock will still struggle - maybe Nakuru or Kisumu or Eldoret is your mate. 68816419: |
