Let me summarize.Kenya like US is source of fdi..not net receipent.In Africa we are neck to neck with South Africa in sending foreign investment to Africa.We definitely ran the show in East Africa.We definitely lead in quality of education, innovation, human capital and our workforce are highly regarded for their skills & professionalism.Cooperative don't start..maybe South Africa have caught up in the number of co-op but the depth of our coops is unmatched globally.We have highest coop to GDP ratio of 45%.New Zealand follow at 22%.We have diversified economy that is sophisticated for our current level of development.We compete and beat South Africa & developed world companies.Kenya is liberal market based free economy but few ever dare come..ask Dangote..We sign and ratify nearly all sorts of agreement and have absolutely no fear for foreign companies.We allow free flow of forex and companies repatraite profit without any fear.The only bloat is our corruption and ethnic politics.Once we deal with corruption and handle our ethnic politics we will be untouchable in Africa.Our economy in last 15yrs has grown nearly 7 times to 90B from 13B.We are closing this year at nearly 100B.Everything suggest the next 15 years we shall see similar if not high growth as demographic dividend start kicking.Your cooked GDP don't count..a dip in oil will expose your naked belly..so honestly South Africa need to be on look out...By 2030 they won't know what hit them.
