The difference with Tanzania and DRC from Kenya is that they haven’t been as economically stable as kenya, one embraced socialism first which failed and the second was fighting wars for decades and just recently had its first election where the presidency was passed without huge conflicts. The reality is that from an economic stance both Tanzania and DRC had ingredients to become a bigger economy than Kenya, they have bigger population and more respurces and Tanzania is united with declining corruption which always welcome more investment.

As regard to Magufuli - he has destroyed the economy - no doubt about that - the economy was growing at 7% - and is now projected to grow at 3% - the worst in East Africa I bet.
