Al-buraq still holds the highest speed title at 357kph_ I don't think there is any new train in Africa that can beat that record. Trust me, trains depreciate in speed. Give it 3 weeks of service and you'll see 290kmh or even lower. Our SGR was doing 160km/h when tested, it's now lower than 140km/h.

Its ridiculous what the guy is suggesting , like having the last guy in class trying to compete with number 1 without even trying to beat the second last guy or Eritrea aiming to be like Brazil in football without even outdoing Djibouti. You start climbing a tree from the bottom. The Kenya vs Tz thing only began after independence because you were a German colony for 39 yrs, at that time we can argue some competition because Kenyans and Tznians kicked each others butts during WW1, but later you were a British colony for 42 yrs during which time there was pretty much no competition between the two. Lets be honest after independence we competed directly for maybe 20 years (the first 10 fiercely) then you guys quit the competition after Mzee accepted his system was flawed. Competition resumed again in the early 2000s after Moi's spectacular misrule took Kenya's economy to the cleaners, giving you a chance to catch up. Currently you have a fairly good chance because Ruto, the egg shaped head and his humpty dumpty deputy will make sure Kenya goes to the dogs. The question is whether your current leadership is any better or she's similarly speerheading a stagflation. Btw, Kenya's data is not fake, it shows even in our annual budget. If it was fake we wouldn't manage to spend the equivalent of all EA countries combined on our own.

So is your annual budget 26b equal to the total of TZ, uganda, and the rest if eac?
Sometimes u need to know lies won't feed Kenyans. Years and years if lying what have it benefited your country?

Do u know, even us in TZ we can simply rebase and rebase and artificially overvaluing our currency even by more than 200% so our GDP figures could be very big. But at the end of a day how will that benefit us the citizen except getting a stupid pride?

Designed speed and operating speed are two different stuff. Operating speed I usually lower than a designed speed. Like in your case, your designed speed for your passenger trains was 100kph,but your operating speed is usually 70-80kph.
Even the one in naija,it will be doing lower speed, and even more lower because it's a metro trains which needs to have more stoppages

Nope... Mathematically speaking, we make 45% of entire EAC budget with a mere 25% of total population.

Sometimes u need to know lies won't feed Kenyans. Years and years if lying what have it benefited your country?

UnfortunΓ tely your confused leaders have chosen to raise spending and debt uptake. Tz has raised its budget by a whopping 7% and Uganda by an even bigger 9.6%. The downside is you lack the revenues to justify such. Tz is only managing to finance 70% of its budget, UG will only manage 68%, Rwanda 63% compared to Kenya 80%. Tz will make do with a whopping 17% foreign aid compared to Kenya's 4.7% of which 1% is grants. Numbers don't lie.

Do u know, even us in TZ we can simply rebase and rebase and artificially overvaluing our currency even by more than 200% so our GDP figures could be very big. But at the end of a day how will that benefit us the citizen except getting a stupid pride?

The UN statistical office recommends a country to rebase it's economy every five or so years. This is not done to boost egos but to better capture economic activity. That's why Tz rebased in 2014 and did so exactly five years later in 2019. Kenya has traditionally rebased after every ten years... 1967, 1976, 1985, 2005, 2014, 2021. Between 1985 and 2005 we did not rebase because we had an incompetent and intellectually challenged moro.n in power and virtually no change in economic activity took place.

There seems to be an explosion of skyscrapers in Africa. In every city you visit, skyscrapers are popping up overnight. The increased demand in office spaces across the continent has led to the mushrooming of skyscrapers with some going beyond 100 meters into the sky.

South Africa leads the continent with the most skyscrapers at 54 followed by Egypt which has 48. Nigeria has 14 while Algeria has 13. Kenya has 11, Morocco has eight while Tanzania and Angola have seven and six respectively. Libya has five while Cote D’Ivoire, Ethiopia, and Mozambique have three each.

Kenya Commercial Bank Plaza has 109 meters.

According to Wikipedia, most of the tallest buildings in Kenya are found in Nairobi, the capital and largest city in the country. In Nairobi, there are 18 buildings that stand taller than 80 meters (260 ft), and several are under construction.

When it comes to overall real estate in Kenya, Nairobi, Kisumu, Uasin Gishu, and Nakuru are the most oversupplied retail markets by 3.0 mn SQFT, 0.2 mn SQFT, 0.12 mn SQFT, and 0.09 mn SQFT, respectively, and also expected to increase further especially in Nairobi with the additional spaces such as the Ojijo Properties.

The Kenyan retail sector performance recorded a stable performance with the average rental yield coming in at 6.8 percent in 2022.

Nairobi was the best-performing region with an average rental yield and occupancy rate of 7.8 percent and 75.9 percent, respectively.

The opportunity remains in mid-tier counties that are undersupplied such as Kiambu County and Mt. Kenya region, both having space demand of 0.5 mn SQFT.
