why not just buy a london use or a clean secondhand for as low as 12k. i think they can all serve thesame purpose

I got this device delivered to me today.its a BB 9720 and oh yes I know of the NO WHATSAPP blah blah but the truth is,am a Heavy browser and Downloader,we all know the os7.1 devices have cheap data plans (BIS)as well as their unbeatable Data compression technology!!!imagine 1k for 3Gb + data compression can you beat that??lol

I would have gotten a BB10 device(Q5) But 10 devices lack DATA COMPRESSION TECH and they don't support BIS on other networks apart from GLO. That Sucks isn't it?

I also know about the imei changing on android phones for them to start using bb sub buh I generally don't like android phones

BTW my primary phone Is my IPhone 5s #TEAMiOS my iPhone5s is gonna met my Whatsapp ,Skype,Video calling needs.I can as well use my BB as a mobile hotspot for my iOS device. Cool right?hehe

it also depends on the network tho...Etisalat bis don't allow but Airtel and Glo dose and mtn

None of the network allows sharing/using mb through hotspot

OP is a learner, I guess he didn't confirm this before buying the phone, am currently using the phone but its all just waste of money ccos I can't connect my laptop through hotspot.

Nice one. Don't mind all these people joor. I currently use a very old OS 7 myself because of data after selling my BB10. I still finish 3gb for 1k subscription on etisalat every 2weeks. Imagine what I would have been spending if I used BB10 or android.

the probs associ wt dis phone includes,
1. low power battery
2. always off and On
3. Os always shaking and misbehaving
4. Power board/circuit wahala
5. network on 3G work lik 2G or Edge netwk
6. wifi only work on 2G netwk
7. bad bad bad all bad
etc etc etc

Currently using the phone also, testify to:
No 1 (poor battery)
No 2 (hangs which u will need to restart)
No 3 (u can't browse through heavy site)
No 4 ( u cannot use ur MB through hotspot)
No 5 ( u can't watch youtube on it)

Infact I have used all network provider on it, it doesn't work. There was a time I used the 1400 airtel subscription all cos I wanted to make use of hotspot on laptop, it worked but I couldn't make use of my BBM, and whatsapp msg was like crap, cos when someone send msg to u in the morning, u will get the msg the next day. The sub didn't work on social app but was good for hotpot

This phone eeeh.You will spend lot's of money on the charging port(it is very delicate) that you will regret ever getting that phone and after a while the screen touch function would stop working.
