Izonpikin:
I have said it before that whilst a drop in oil price really affected our revenue a drastic drop in our volume of crude compounded the wahala..

And that is where buhari would have to eat all the blames...you became president at a time when oil price is low and all you could think of was to look for the trouble of the oil producing regions all in the dirty name of corruption fight..i hope that has yielded results for him..buhari knows next to nothing about compromise and the best times to make tough decisions as a leader...was chasing tompolo, making derogatory statements about the regions producing oil, truncating pipelines surveillance contracts etc the right thing to do after assuming power

Buhari is just a predictable leader...

If I was buhari one of my first visits would have been to the south south in order to gain their favor and assure them of peace and cooperation..rather our president sat far away to say rubbish about these regions...

A wise post and advise but unfortunately the Buhari and his cohurts don't understand the differences between a LEADER and a RULER

I don't support the blowing up of government infrastructure by hungry, cowardly and unscrupulous beings, but I believe that the FG should take proactive measures to address the agitations of these rascals either by dialogue or brute force.

The PMB led government should learn to accept responsibility even though we know that they inherited many problems from GEJ.

This government is full of comedy and blame game. First, PDP and GEJ were to blame for the recession. Now, NDA are to blame for the same recession. Who is to blame for the first recession Nigerian experienced in 1984 when Buhari was a head of state?

the bomb was planted before may29, ineffectual buffoon created the avengers before the election.

Wonder how you guys get to believe some of these things you say. So let me ask you, the NAOC line that was bombed the second time after NAOC downplayed NDA's threat and proceeded to fix it can you explain how that happened? The first bomb couldn't trigger the second one's explosion? The security agents know all these but they are managing the details so that you and I can continue having confidence in them but please don't shout more than them lest you start sounding stupid even to yourself

Re: Blame Niger Delta Militants For The Recession – Osinbajo by PreciousBro: 9:27am On Sep 20, 2016
lol Osinbajo stylishly playing the blame game as though the NigerDelta militancy just hit inception during this regime grin to cause such turbulent recession we are phased with.

Oh i thought it was the inappropriate monetary scandering of the immediate past corrupt government executhieves,or why not the lootings of Gej and his ministerial croonies and their quest to render the national account dry?

The blame game persists because you and your head are clueless as to resolving governance issues. You forget that the ND are your problems too so get to work and stop crying to our faces. Nigerians put you there to deliver economic stability and not inform us on the issues we are already aware of.

Yea, several things which must not include Buhari and your yoruba appointees as they are ever infallible.

Thank God, it is now several things and no longer GEJ, because Osibanjo has mentioned another party apart from GEJ. You shall soon blame God who didn't strike oppositions down for Buhari to sail smoothly.

For ur info, Nigeria has only witnessed this serious economic situation once, guess who were at the control room then. Fulani Buhari n yoruba. Same thing now, and u are looking for several things.
Take ur shallow tribal/clannish mentality and sorry opinion and shove it up ur ***

I am not quarreling with you am just a citizen like you who is affected by government dumb response to the situation , the drop in oil price is not the issue it is the strategy adopted, the difference is the exchange rate differential so do you calculation the government still earn the naira equivalent of the earns after short fall with the new exchange rate
The problem we face presently is 60% due to crash in oil price and 20% due to the drastic reduction in our export volumes; the remaining 20% may be attributed to policy flops... Let's call a spade a spade, we mustn't give a political analysis to everything. A struggling nation lost over 60% of its income and you expect things to be normal? You actually think it is 'policy' that is most responsible here?... I'm wondering how wonderful these policies could have been to print forex from the sky... It is only those who choose to view and analyse every situation from the political perspective that think that 'policy' is a larger factor than oil price and oil export volumes in a country which gets 92% of its income from oil and which suddenly lost more than half of that.

dat is why dis govt is already on record as d most incompetent govt eva. nigerians should blame d dullard for d happenings in niger delta.
it makes no economic sense for a govt who's major source of forex is from crude oyel to distabilize d niger delta by stoping maritime university meant for south south youths, declaring tompolo wanted, halting amnesty programes in d name of ego (new sheriff in town). wat has bauri achieved so far notin. they ended up losing 1.4 million barels of oyel daily.
dis govt is too incompetent.
