Due to the power of media, they overhype everything that is their own.
Before Keshi won the African nations Cup, their media said it was an Igbo team. After we won, they never said anything about it again.
They did the same during Amunike's time in Under 17, but shut them up by winning the tournament.
The same thing is happening now with a foreign coach. Whether they like it or not, Igbos and the South South produce the best football players/athletes in this country.

The era they controlled the print media and reeled out endless tons of lies and fabrications as they seem fit is gone.

This is the ICT age, none of their past or present fabrications will be allowed to stand. They will be so mercilessly be torn to shreds by truth, until they learn to stop propagating falsehoods.
