You can tell from this post and subsequent comments that Nigeria is a clueless country.

What is so special about swimming 50m that would drag our jobless Ministers and COAS to do jamboree over the girl.

50m is just the length of one swimming pool. Every child in riverine areas of Niger Delta can do this by age 4. And a good percentage of children in the West also. I was also doing the same at 4 years old.

Either the journalist who wrote this is clueless as to what a real record is, or our Ministers are truly jobless.

Everything is wrong with this picture. First of all, na so it begins. Soon, someone will say she converted to islam on her own accord and cover her head up with a rag, then they will start molest her.
If there is an adult at the scene, they would never have allowed that unprotected and uncovered child jump into the dirty smelly water for whatever reason. But Dalung was there, so you would expect things to work upside down.
