I have monitored my Spectranet account for past 2 months. The data consumption that is reported is 3 times what I actually consumed.

I use the 10K for 25GB plan and just recharged my account yesterday and downloaded a 280MB file, only to check my session history and it was reported that I had utilized 1.75GB.

My neighbor also complained about similar and has ported to Ntel.

Spectranet is cheating its customers by charging you for more data than you actually consumed.

Has anyone else experienced this?? I think it's time to move to Smile or Ntel. No need wasting money on fraudsters.

smile is not a no go area.....their zapping is worse than that of spectranet.............,Try NTEL

Swift is worse... Smile doesn't have good coverage... Spectranet's data is the more you look, the less you see... I wonder why they all start with the letter S... guess their intention is to SCAM Nigerians..

I bought 4GB data on spectranet and it got consumed within a week, I only used it to check mail and for Google, I didn't download anything or watch any video

And I was thinking of buying 25GB today, but thank God I stumble upon this thread....I no dey buy again

Spectranet throttle their internet speed during their supposed free midnight free time.

So the internet speed is slow for downloads? Is that what you are telling me?

This is very correct. During the day i get upto 250Kb/s download, but at night during the unlimited browsing it is limited to 15 - 25Kb/s

I abandoned my spectranet modem immediately they changed tarrif and no one could unlock it.
