An adult elephant eats between 200 and 600 pound of food every day. They won't be very active on the ark, so assume they only eat 200lbs/day. There are really ony 2 species of elephants left, so those 2 species must have been on the ark. So there were 4 elephants eating 200lbs of food per day for 100 days. 4 x 200 x 100 = 80,000 pounds of food just for the elephants. Where did they store all of the food or did each animal have to share their 5.29 square centimeters with their food as well? Inquiring minds want to know.[/b]
