When they were working..... If you tell them to save up and start an enterprise, they will not listen... They will say their salary and allowances are more than enough for them.... Okay please borrow me N1,000 they will say ... "I don't have money"...

After losing their job... If you tell them to use their savings/gratuity to start an enterprise, they will not listen. They will put the money inside wonder-bank for 100% interest every month or apply for US/UAE visa.... When wonder-bank scam them and Embassy deny them visa, that is how N800,000 don burn.

Even now, if someone gives him N1m, rather than start enterprise with it in naija, he will want to go Malaysia...

Who da hell! Goes to dubai to seek for greener pastures? Even for holiday they will not see me there again, an entire sharia country, i only drank a small bottle of JD wiskey and the fools got me arrested for drinking, treathned to deport me back to England after prison if not that my friend i was with speaks arabic, i don't know were i would have ended up, next day i packed my luggages a left the dusty desert country.

the annoying thing is, one bahrainian muslim man and another man from dubai were drinking with me too but were not arrested,

the sharia police who arrested me was more angry that a black man like me was in possesion of a British passport. I will never ever, never ever, go to that country again even if it is the gate way to heaven.

I do not know! I am just saying that your skill has to be in good demand to be successful in those kind of countries. I suppose a very well qualified Surgeon should be able to get a job better than a banker (and the word banker covers a multitude of sins - he might just be a clerk or something junior; who needs a banker from Nigeria?)...

He should be locked up in jail sef, Nigerians with thier fake lives. He could not do pon pon work in Nigeria but gladly paid over 500 k for the same pon pon work in dubai.
I did pon pon in chevron when cappa was still building that chevron complex in lekki, i did pon pon work when vgc was still been built and i learnt about life the hard way and am better for it despite the health hazards back then.

See ehn,for this life, no be the same head we all carry come. Dubai wey be say some people no won comot at all. I have Nigerian friends heading big companies here, working in hospitals, marketing, teachers making it big time. That OP didn't have a favorable experience doesn't mean that's the fate of all Nigerians in dubai. Am in dubai, and in the last 7months av made passed what u guys can imagine, just that I don't wanna type figure. Tho, am leaving here very soon, europe/canada has been my target from the onset, I just needed traveling experience and savings. Some ppl in US too dey suffer, it happens everywhere. Lotta Nigerians are coming in everyday, and it's definitely not everybody that will be opportune. So, that's why we need to pray fervently before and after laying hands on anything. Na only God fit make all our dreams and aspirations happen. Construction work here is suicidal, I don't expect a bricklayer in naija sef to do it cos the weather here is not favourable not to talk of a banker. Anyway OP, God would make ways and console u with something bigger. Thank God for being alive, when there is life, there is hope my brother.I can't type much
