I beg to disagree with folks who say America has more political years and experience than Nigeria. I don't see it a reason, rather I see it as an excuse. Consider this. Does it require Rocket-Science to cast votes in a venue that is befitting of humans, or reviewing the system to make it easier and more appealing? It's either crass ignorance or greed (what's in it for me syndrome), or a mix of both. If you stil think otherwise, ask yourself why are recruitment processes and systems of multi-nationals different and more humane than that of the civil service. Like writing recruitment tests in stadiums. It's just requires the will, planning and execution to have a decent voting centre. |
