Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, has said he won’t destroy his United States’ residency permit until President elect, Donald Trump is inaugurated in 2017.
In a report by Vangaurd Newspaper, Soyinka reportedly made this known on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
The writer reportedly said he will not destroy his residency permit until he sees what becomes of Trump’s administration after inaugurated into office.
“Why don’t we wait until Trump actually takes office? I am just going about my normal commitments, but definitely not getting into any more commitments. Let’s put it that way for now,” he said.
Days before the United States presidential election held, Soyinka had threatened to tear his permit should Republican candidate, Donald Trump emerge winner.

hmmm Kongi, I don't think the present protests going on now in the US against Trump's presidency nor court cases like the Trump University ponzi would prevent his inauguration in January 2017. Yea truth is despite the electoral college verdict, majority of Americans voted for Clinton: about 100,000 more than Trumps. Sometimes event defies our logics ; we ain't God.
Despite she hasn't won the presidency, Hilary Clinton actually has won the heart of most Americans and should step in now to help calm the brewing storm in form of the several anti Trump's protests presently gripping America. Folks just won't listen to anybody else especially when Trump had said he would reject the result long before the election. is not karma a bitch?

.Trump is the choice of the American union so leave it at that . He beat her fair and square with over 50 electoral votes .So you think the Americans don't know what they are doing when the decided to use the electoral college as a determinant.
