Get Adobe Lightroom, it's the industry standard for photography. "Lightroom" actually is a pun: a digital equivalent of the darkroom used to develop film photography. For more dramatic effects, we all know Adobe Photoshop is THE software.

I totally agree with what's said above. Infact I sometimes edit a single image in both... doing different things in each.

Indeed. Having good light is sometimes better than having a good camera.

How well and truly spoken, little wonder it is often said "it's not the camera, it's the photographer"

As a rookie enthusiast myself, I think I've fallen in love with natural light. This free you tube tutorial did it for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2nNxaBA6ss It appears I'm now seeing the world a little different from others - I always see a photo opportunity. It's a shame though that I'm camera shy when I move around in naija

The youtube tutorial above is a long a***d one but I swear, it's absolutely worth your while. I've watched it twice now and the second time I had to go through almost a year of my youtube viewing history to find it It's that enlightening

My gf wasn't too happy, so i did this to change her mood. Used a Galaxy pocket 2mp cam and edited with PicsArt. Didn't arrange d background tho. Hope they aren't toooooo bad?

Autumn is always beautiful with lovely colours everywhere. But it becomes a mission to take decent pictures -often dark with little natural light. 'twas a slice of heaven when I saw the sun emerge beyond the trees

I was a baby rookie then; I knew very little about golden hour pics.
I guess the pictures were taken on my second photo outing, just after I purchased my canon T2i (550D).
