We read how Bayo's wife suddenly put up an attitude she never displayed before and started calling relatives lying about how Bayo had always beat her up.


Bayo by now was a frustrated man, and it was beginning to tell in his office and outside home. The parents off-course came visiting but they all believed the wife wasn't lying and queried Bayo on why he would ever beat his wife.

The wife would pretend to be the victim in the presence of Bayo's parents or her parents and turn him to the victim when there was no stranger or visitor in the house. This went on for 3 weeks.

On this particular day, Bayo got to work and when it was obvious to his employers that he was not fit to be at work, they asked him to go home and get some rest, Bayo off-course came home unannounced.

At the door, he overheard his wife and her elder sister discussing and decided to pay close attention. The big revelation was set loose.

It happened that Tope had always informed her sister about all the happening in their matrimonial home (in innocence), how the husband was doing well at work, how they planned to travel out on the next big holiday and more. Her sister who has failed in securing a happy home or husband herself got jealous and started planting all sort of negative thought in Tope's head - How they husband was probably seeing someone else whenever he got home late, how she has to be the no-nonsense wife.

Tope's sister was the cause of their matrimonial problem.

Bayo has not revealed all he heard to anyone, he's however considering if he should break up with Tope or reveal the big secret to the family.
