I recently bought a used Audi A4 from a nairalander.

The seller told me that the only thing I need to fix is the Shock and every other thing is sound. I went with a mechanic to inspect the car and the mechanic observed the shock weren't working.

After transacting, we left to a workshop to fix the shock. I observed the car overheats whenever I use the AC. I repaired and tested it worked. Few hours later the overheating started after using the AC again.

Also, the starring is strong, I have changed the starring pump it worked very good. After some hours, it started again.

Please I need help as I don't know what to do and I am not ready to spend more money without positive result.

So far I have spent close to 50k without result.

And this is my first car.

Cos I have come to the conclusion in 9ja in the absence of perfect parts inferior becomes the norm.

The mechanic said used arts are better so he always replace with used parts. The car has been functioning well lately just that I don't use the AC. I saw the mechanic today he was surprised that I have not visited him.

Nah used parts are never better than new parts.Do not let anybody tell you otherwise,waht you mean to say is Inferior parts.You cant compare a ball joint used for 7 years with that brand new if you bought an original one.The brake Pads and Plugson my car has been there 4 years

The originals are scarce and expensive, its better you go for tokunbo than buying the so called new ones.

They are fakes, the original OEM are expensive. E.g can you afford spark plug of N6000 or break pad of N12000?

Go for grade A tokunbo...it serves wella

You got it wrong.If you got the money go for brand new originals, it will save you at the long run cos you wont ever need to replace them until you get rid of the car.
if your car cost N4m, Im sure a spark plug of N6k and brake pad N12k would be the least of your worries.
These days the Internet makes shopping easy.

Not really. I didn't meet him that day and I couldn't wait. Thank God I didn't spend any money because the starring is free now.

I'd advise you to change the radiator to double cell and also the double the fan...its not getting enough air to suck through the radiator and besides,the radiator might be too weak to work with the AC, hence,the reason why it overheats whenever the AC is used. try also looking up the type of coolant your car uses and make use of it.it helps in dispensing heat quickly from the engine and helps fight overheating

I have changed the the fans and blades. Because of that AC of a thing i spent over 30k without result. I'll be using it like that untill I have enough money to spare. The problem i noticed now is that the fuel economy is poor. I the fuel tend to vanish whenever i park and put off the engine.
