Driving is a mastered art form, one that requires utmost concentration, calm and impeccable technique. It should come as no shock though that a lot of people who call themselves drivers are yet to master this art form known as driving. They are the ones who risk your life and bring unrepairable damage to your properties. They include but aren’t limited to: THE HABITUAL DRINKER: You smell the alcohol on his breath, but he severely reassures you “oga I never high, I fit finish one crate of stout and my eye go clear”. Are you willing to risk your life on the egotistical assurance concerning his drinking prowess? .... I hope not. THE 2 WEEK OLD GRADUATE OF DRIVING SCHOOL: Do we all remember that feeling after graduating from school? The one where you feel you’re ready to take on the world and life’s obstacles? Only they aren’t just taking to the road with barely enough driving experience, they are also creating deadly obstacles and endangering their lives and that of other road users. THE ILL-TEMPERED DRIVER: It’s no news that driving in most cities in Nigeria can bring out the worst of behaviours even in the most saintly amongst us. Sadly though, when a driver allows anger becloud his thinking, all hell breaks loose and the lives of those around him are put at risk.
