We should also ask why Dasuki's corruption trial for alleged embezzlement of monies meant to procure military hardware is being carried out in secret?

The fact is that Dasuki's trial is a complete charade and if held openly will be obvious to all and sundry for what it is - a mere kangaroo court.

Dasuki's persecution is not over any useless vendetta neither does it serve as part of Buhari's fake anti corruption war but is meant to keep Dasuki remanded indefinitely over fears of him exposing those really behind the boko haram scourge.

You will recall that Dasuki stated early during his hounding by the DSS, that he helped the APC into power by ignoring some serious security reports against big shots within the party by not going after them so as not to appear as if he was politically motivated.

He was National Security Adviser for years, but didn't reveal the true identity of Boko haram sponsors nor go after them. Which in itself is a treasonous act against the state.

It is now that he is out of power and a siting duck that he wants to reveal boko haram??

As someone rightly pointed out, he has access to his lawyers. Let them open the can of worms for the whole wolrd to see.

For betraying his master GEJ, and ignoring sensitive intelligence to favor Buhar's APC, a claim Dasuki actually made, the man deserves no mercy.
I'm not a Buhari supporter by any means, but saboteurs, betrayers, and deceivers both tribalistic and political deserve no mercy.
We never learn to put principle above religion, tribe, and politics in this country.
