The Shia crackdown has been seen by christian pundits as non of our business. However there is grave reasons for our concern, when a man is putting his house in order it is because he has huge plans in the offing. In this case the various cases of muslims attacking christians in Borno, Kaduna and other Northern states is about to get worse.

The current act of genocide against Shia muslims in the North can be likened to a cleansing that occurs prior to a larger event. Cases abound when house to house raids are conducted and deaths by mobbing is carried out on shia muslims. We have cause to be alarmed by these attacks, it reveals that the tolerance level of the native muslim populace is at an ebb. The next target would be the Christian community.

The genocide against Shia has reached epic proportions and should be condemned by men of good conscience. The demolishing of worship places, schools and others is a dehumanizing sight. The north lacks schools and destruction of educational facilities should be frowned at.

The Christian populace should rally around the Shia muslims [even though they would not do same for us]. This is a case of a man who keeps mute while his next door neighbor is being robbed, rather than sounding the alarm or calling security he basks in temporary comfort and assurance. He would be in for a similar treatment once the thieves are done with his neighbor.

Together we are too big to be attacked, one by one we can be picked up. Let me conclude by saying that evil prevails when good men do nothing.

Muslim youths attack another Catholic Church in Niger state, says ‘Friday belongs to us’By Daily Post Staff on July 16, 2016@dailypostngr

A group of Muslim youths, on Friday attacked St. Philip’s Catholic Parish, Baki Iku, very close to Zuma Rock in Niger State.

According to eyewitnesses, some Catholics, who had gone to the church to pray were attacked by the Muslims on the claim that Friday was their day of prayer and that the Church only had right to worship on Sundays.

Information gathered from eyewitnesses showed that they destroyed the Church properties, including doors and windows.

“Although some soldiers managed to get there but a lot of harm had been done to the building, while the Christians ran away in different directions to avoid being killed”, the source hinted.

It should be recalled that Alhaji Kabiru Sokoto had on Christmas day four years ago (December 25, 2011) detonated a bomb that killed over 200 Catholics and passersby at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Madalla, close to St. Philips that was destroyed.

Rev Fr. Luka Sylvester Gopep, the Vicar-General of the Diocese confirmed the incident.

He said, “Sometime around 2pm, some Muslim youths in their hundreds left their Mosque after their Friday Jumat prayer and rushed to the Church premises, climbed the wall and destroyed everything in the Church: the windows, the alter, musical instruments, the chapel.

“The security man in the church premises was beaten to pulp. Some women who were holding a prayer meeting were chased away. The seminarian who is resident in the premises was also beaten up and chased away.”

Just last week, Mrs Eunice Olawale Elisha, a mobile preacher of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was killed by some fanatical Muslims in Kubwa, FCT.[/b]

Beginning to like this Danjuma guy, tells it like it is. Unfortunately, Nigerians don't take notice of violation of another person's civil rights and principles until it happens to them.
There is no reason Buhari should be using our police and army to wipe off opposition religious figures.
Yes, after shiites, he will face christians, pagans, Jews, and even hindus, because he is crazy!

Its ludicrous comparing shia to christians. Christians dont go around armed to the teeth attacking people. Christians have grave respect for constituted authority. Christians practice their religion in peace. Unlike shia that delight in armed force, constituting nuisance and total disrespect for functional democracy. Your fate today has been in the offing for a long time!

Sunni/Shia crises in the North is a clear case of "God putting confusion among my enemies".

Christians have been the victims for a long time and now the table has turned. I detest shedding the blood of the weak but after hearing about Northern religious crises of the past and its effect on innocent xtians, all I can say is, whatever a man sow, let him reap. Shikena

Christians next my asss.

Do you see Christians marching upandan blocking Defence Chiefs' convoys, constituting themselves into pesky touts all over the place??

We all know where this mess started. Why should a particular sect of people consider themselves untouchable because their provocative acts have been tolerated over the years. When Jonathan did same in the past killing two sons of their leader on the same day, where was this warning??

Nonsense.

Bury your dead and tell the living to be law abiding. Expression of their freedom of worship and movement shouldn't interfere with someone else's expression of their freedom.

See them trying to involve Christians in their madness cheesy cheesy and the most annoying thing is that some Christians who can not read or even have small brains will take this lie to heart and it will become their next anthem.

A little history on the activities of this shitte and the true reason for the main attacks on them will only make you say "good for them" Danjuma or whatever you call yourself, go and tell your shitte brothers that there can not be a government within a government simple.

And keep the word Christians out of your mouth because this issue does not concern them or anybody at that. A stubborn child will eventually get the treatment meant for stubborn children no matter how long it takes.

Christians are law abiding people and on this one, you people will not Crack any sympathy from anyone.

The question to ask is, can Muslims withstand the wrath and might of the Nigerian Christians if it comes to a free for all fight? They believe they have the monopoly of violence forgetting that it is the cheapest commodity sold in the streets. Relax man, we all know this and have been getting ready for them and monitoring them closely especially since Buhari got in there. I will also advise those of you from the north to get ready and be watchful cos those people are blood thirsty. My little stay in the north showed me the typical behaviour of an average muslim when it comes to religious issues.
