finally, I was able to login. i discovered on my profile that the state and local gov. area column is blank and i cant even fill in my state and LGA. pls is it same thing with everybody that have successfully logged in.

Abeg o what is going on with this log in issue. Someone can login on the same portal with the right log in details while others can not.
Hmmmm. This guyz should do better than this, I have complained to them, and suggested that they do something about security/privacy issues when login in. Anyone can log into your account b4 you and might hold you at ransome maybe by changing your password. I can't believe when I just decided to try someone else's phone number and surname (coz mine wasnt going through) and I was able to log into the person's account just like that. I don't even know the guy, just got his details here on nairaland

This point you raised is veryyyyyyyyyyyy important
Your account details can be changed too.
Imagine someone receiving alert on your behalf while you do all the work or writing to npower of not receiving payment.

N-power can do a text-to-phone confirmation code to verify your details before you can login. Just like when you do online payment, the 5-6digt code is sent to you phone number for confirmation.
Then we can login and change our passwords, with assurance but for now, just hope "bad belles, g-guys will not work on this flaw before we change our passwords.

for now I tried changing the password it is not updating. Please if you have done yours let me know.

For those having login problem, try using
Username: your phone number
Password: any of your other name i.e if you have tried using your surname. E.g Emeka. The first letter should be in capital letter while the other letters should be small letters.
It worked for me, and i hope it works for you too
