What the hell are you talking about? You are deluded if you honestly think that a significant amount of U.S time and money is devoted to Nigerian 419. LOL, what a joke. You'd be hard pressed to find any U.S. politician mention anything about Nigerian internet fraud, or Nigeria for that matter. Now to the contrary, Islam extremism is one of the major issues, and loads of money has been allotted to the so called 'War on Terror'.

That is what I thought until America attacked Iraq now I no longer believe they are fighting terror in Afghanistan. America is certainly spending billions if not trillions on war in distant places but it is debatable if they are fighting terror…more like spreading terror, actually.

I have been to Mecca not for pilgrim (Orunmila forbid) but for a friend's Brother's marriage and no, even he doesn't believe in Islam or mecca as holy land. The only Holy Land for me is Eko!!! Eko oooo Eko nile!! Promote that as the holy land and see money coming in for us like mad. Other holy lands are Egypt, Ethiopia, South Africa, Ghana etc, . Now those are holy lands.

You kiss a black stone, wash your legs or body in some stream, then throw a stone and finally kill a ram. If this isn't equal PAGAN worship then tell me what is. They are all the same

its quite obvious you dont know much about islam or abrahamic religions in general, you should learn, all the black stone and stone throwing you keep insinuating are symbolic rituals not the actual act of worship, the black stone is not God/Allah. The black box was built by Abraham. You are also attempting to send political mesages by insisting that non africans are always stealing aspects of african cultures. this is not true, instead of blaming others, why not blame blacks, has it ever occured to you that blacks are not welcome anywhere in the world??blacks are actually inferior to other races, the sooner you accept this the better. blacks have lower aggregate IQ scores than other races and we are also the the least developed in terms of human development. this is coz arabs and europeans stole african brains right? all blacks claim is egypt but even egypt was not purely black,it was a very racially mixed society with pale to beige to brown being the dominant colors. they had both hamitic and semitic admixture within egypt. so i say its blacks who are incapable of technological advancement and who have severe moral corruption entrenched in their cultures that are to blame not other races, fix yourself and dont blame others for your misfortunes.if today, you can instil discipline in our cultures then we maybe can progress

What a beautiful discussion. Kudos to blackspade, Atheist and co, for the refreshing level of intelligence they've displayed in this debate.

The key to the current African status as recipients of Others' religion, as well as its underdeveloped state relative to the west, lies in the loss of the north African coasts in antiquity, to foreign invaders, the descendants of whom occupy the north African coast today.

The northern tip of the continent was long ago peopled by huge black majorities, with Egypt, the epicenter of black and global civilization for 5000 years.

The trade and knowledge exchanged by the world's peoples centered around the Mediterrenean Interconnectivity Zone - the Information Superhighway of antiquity, a geographical convergence of East, West, North and Southern trading ships and meeting place for the world's merchants, politicians, philosophers, and scientists.

It was in this zone that ancient African civilization was disseminated around the world - the invention of writing, Religion, Laws, Bureaucracy, Architecture, Medicine, Mathematics, The sciences.

These were all the inventions of black African people who founded Egypt, and ruled for thousands of years before the Hyksos (led by their god, Seth, Esu, or satan), and later Greek, and finally, Arab invasions of the 600s AD, succeeded in forcing the blacks to migrate, over centuries, further down into ''sub-Saharan'' Africa.

This is what accounts for the uniform accounts among ''sub Saharan'' groups of having migrated 'from the north' in ancient times.

Once Africans lost the control of the northern coasts, and got further hemmed in by the ever encroaching Sahara (which was once a fertile region filled with cities and rivers), they lost several things - direct trade access with the world, and participation in the knowledge revolution that was soon to spread among those still with access to the Interconnectivity Zone.

The Africans moved further south and established empires that sought to re-create the ancient glories of the Nile Valley - Ghana - Mali - Songhai. In doing this the rulers discovered that they needed to be on the right side with those who now held the coasts to the north - now muslim Arabs. They became dependent on the invaders for trade and information access to the world.

The success of the empires depended on the Trans Saharan trade. These routes were controlled by Arabs the further up you went,  all the way to the coast, and the long trade caravans from the south were frequently hijacked and disrupted by vicious Arab marauding gangs.

Conversion to Islam by the rulers of the black empires tended to ensure safe passage of the goods, salt, gold, ivory, and other items destined for Europe and Asia.

This was the beginning of the African jettisoning his wondrous and ancient heritage for purposes of economic survival.

The current battle in Sudan is but a continuation of the relentless push of the blacks further and further to the south, by Arab invaders and their Arabized, mullato descendants.

In the ancient world, blacks south of the Sahara were named by the Greeks ''Ethiopians''

Greek historian Diodorus Siculus. From his own statements we learn that he traveled in Egypt around 60 BC. His travels in Egypt probably took him as far south as the first Cataract.

"They (the Ethiopians) say also that the Egyptians are colonists sent out by the Ethiopians, Osiris ["King of Kings and God of Gods] having been the leader of the colony . . . they add that the Egyptians have received from them, as from authors and their ancestors, the greater part of their laws."

(1st century B.C., Diodorus Siculus of Sicily, Greek historian and contemporary of Caesar Augustus, Universal History Book III. 2. 4-3. 3)

Diodorus devoted an entire chapter of his world history, the Bibliotheke Historica, or Library of History (Book 3), to the Kushites ["Aithiopians"] of Meroe. Here he repeats the story of their great piety, their high favor with the gods, and adds the fascinating legend that they were the first of all men created by the gods and were the founders of Egyptian civilization, invented writing, and had given the Egyptians their religion and culture. (3.3.2).

"Now they relate that of all people the Aithiopians were the earliest, and say that the proofs of this are clear. That they did not arrive as immigrants but are the natives of the country and therefore rightly are called authochthonous is almost universally accepted. That those who live in the South are likely to be the first engendered by the earth is obvious to all. For as it was the heat of the sun that dried up the earth while it was still moist, at the time when everything came into being, and caused life, they say it is probable that it was the region closest to the sun that first bore animate beings".

"They further write that it was among them that people were first taught to honor the gods and offer sacrifices and arrange processions and festivals and perform other things by which people honor the divine. For this reason their piety is famous among all men, and the sacrifices among the Aithiopians are believed to be particularly pleasing to the divinity,"

"The Aithiopians [Ethiopians] say that the Egyptians are settlers from among themselves and that Osiris was the leader of the settlement. The customs of the Egyptians, they say, are for the most part Aithiopian, the settlers having preserved their old traditions. For to consider the kings gods, to pay great attention to funeral rites, and many other things, are Aithiopian practices, and also the style of their statues and the form of their writing are Aithiopian. Also the way the priestly colleges are organized is said to be the same in both nations. For all who have to do with the cult of the gods, they maintain, are [ritually] pure: the priests are shaved in the same way, they have the same robes and the type of scepter shaped like a plough, which also the kings have, who use tall pointed felt hats ending in a knob, with the snakes that they call the asp (aspis) coiled round them."

"There are also numerous other Aithiopian tribes [i.e. besides those centered at Meroe]; some live along both sides of the river Nile and on the islands in the river, others dwell in the regions that border on Arabia [i.e. to the east], others again have settled in the interior of Libya [i.e. to the west]. The majority of these tribes, in particular those who live along the river, have black skin, snub-nosed faces, and curly hair".

(Diodous Siculus, Bibliotheke, 3. Translated by Tomas Hagg, in Fontes Historiae Nubiorum, vol. II: From the Mid-Fifth to the First Century BC (Bergen, Norway, 1996))

Other ancient Greek writers corroborrate these accounts:

Aristotle (384-322 B.C.E.) Greek philosopher, scientist, and tutor to Alexander the Great.

Aristotle is said to have written 150 philosophical treatises.

"Too black a hue marks the coward as witness Egyptians and Ethiopians and so does also too white a complexion as you may see from women, the complexion of courage is between the two."

(Physiognomics, Vol. VI, 812a)

Aristotle makes reference to the hair form of Egyptians and Ethiopians: "Why are the Ethiopians and Egyptians bandy-legged? Is it because the bodies of living creatures become distorted by heat, like logs of wood when they become dry? The condition of their hair supports this theory; for it is curlier than that of other nations, and curliness is as it were crookedness of the hair."

(Physiognomics, Book XIV, p. 317)

----------------------

The evidence of Lucian (Greek writer, 125 B.C.) is as explicit as that of the previous writers. He introduces two Greeks, Lycinus and Timolaus, who start a conversation:

Lycinus (describing a young Egyptian): "This boy is not merely black; he has thick lips and his legs are too thin . . . his hair worn in a plait behind shows that he is not a freeman."

Timolaus: "But that is a sign of really distinguished birth in Egypt, Lycinus, All freeborn children plait their hair until they reach manhood. It is the exact opposite of the custom of our ancestors who thought it seemly for old men to secure their hair with a gold brooch to keep it in place."

(Lucian, Navigations, paras 2-3)

Stephanus of Byzantium, who is said to represent the opinions of the most ancient Greeks, says:

"Ethiopia was the first established country on the earth, and the Ethiopians were the first who introduced the worship of the Gods and who established laws."

Quoted by John D. Baldwin, Prehistoric Nations, p. 62.

The French writer Constantin-François Volney (1757-1820), in his important work, The Ruins of Empires, extends this point of view by saying that the Egyptians were the first people to "attain the physical and moral sciences necessary to civilized life." In referring to the basis of this achievement he states further that, "It was, then, on the borders of the Upper Nile, among a Black race of men, that was organized the complicated system of worship of the stars, considered in relation to the productions of the earth and the labors of agriculture; and this first worship, characterized by their adoration under their own forms and national attributes, was a simple proceeding of the human mind."

Volney's Ruins; or, Meditation on the Revolutions of Empires, Boston, J. Mendum, 1869

In his book Egypt, British scholar Sir E.A. Wallis Budge says: "The prehistoric native of Egypt, both in the old and in the new Stone Ages, was African and there is every reason for saying that the earliest settlers came from the South." He further states: "There are many things in the manners and customs and religions of the historic Egyptians that suggests that the original home of their prehistoric ancestors was in a country in the neighborhood of Uganda and Punt."

"The fame of the ancient Ethiopians (ancient Kushites) was widespread in ancient history. Herodotus described them as the tallest, most beautiful and long-lived of the human races, and before Herodotus, Homer, in even more flattering language, described them as the most just of men, the favorites of the gods. The annals of all the great early nations of Asia Minor full of them. The Mosaic records allude to them frequently; but while they are described as the most powerful, the most just, and the most beautiful of the human race, they are constantly spoken of as Black, and there seems to be no other conclusion to be drawn than that remote period of history, the leading race of the Western World was a Black race."

Do you realise that the original images of sages like the Buddha, and Krishna were of BLACK people?

These sages were travelling African priests spreading the African message of peace, equity, religious tolerance, and the immortality of souls.

In Africa, ISIS was worshipped as ''the mother of God'', with the child, Horus ast shown being suckled.  This is the ''Orisha'' ''Olisa'', ''Alusi'' of traditional African religion carried on to this day.

This African religion was exported to Europe. Europeans for several centuries worshipped Osiris and his wife Isis and their son Horus. (Horus Ast).

Christianity incorporated the essential elements of this African religion, resulting in the prepondrance of Black Madonna statues across Europe to this day.

The earliest statues of ''Mary'' were of a black woman. Of course there never was any real virgin named Mary who gave birth to a ''Jesus'', the entire tale being an appropriation of older faiths.

The early Church, in cahoots with the Roman Authorities, simply transferred the object of worship from a black Isis to a black ''Mary'' in order to draw in the ''pagans'' into christianity.

Thus was born the black Madonna statues, across Europe

THE GREAT TRANSFORMATION:

The old African Gods and Godesses are still worshipped by some in Africa.

Osiris is still worshipped as ''Oziri in Ijaw, Ausar in Hausa, Aesar in Uvwie-Urhobo''

The Urhobo ethnic group still refer to the Benin Monarch as OBA RA KA till today. In Ancient Egypt the Ba means immortal, Ra means the Sun god with attributes of all-powerful, self created, supreme etc, while Ka is the personality of the body. Therefore, the Monarch has the personality of the immortal Sun god.

Shu: The god of Air and Tefnut were the pair of gods who were present during creation in Ancient Egypt. The Urhobo ethnic group brought this culture with them from Egypt . They exlaim Shu when surprised during a discussion. Sometimes, “O” is added to it nowadays to make Shu-o .

Isis : Is known as the divine mother and wife of Osiris and Horus respectively. The Queen of Heaven and Earth. [Known in Urhobo and Benin as Issi, in fact; there is a cult known as Igbe in Urhobo, Benin and London . There is also a region named Issi in Edo State . The Igbe Cult still thrives in London today. The Ancestor of some Urhobo people is known as Isis , variously called Esezi , Userkere , and Isesi in especially Okpe sub-cultural group of Urhobo . Pharaoh Djedakare of the 5 th dynasty which date back to 2465-2323 BC was also known and called Isesi ].

Osiris (Asar): The god of the underworld (He was killed by Seth [Esu in Yoruba, Satan in English] identified as the king of the dead, also as a god of inundation and vegetation; represented as a mummified king, worshipped in Abydos Egypt. Seen also as the great judge of the dead. [Uvwie subcultural group of Urhobo in every year perform the spiritual rites of passage from the world to the land of the dead by driving the dead using sticks and leaves in beating roof-top of houses from beginning of town to end of town, they call it Essa (me bie essa hoom, madjirimion hoom, ooh, is a ritual song used]. The Izon ethnic group worship Oziri. [Osiris]

So basically what's happened (because these systems of worship were established at a time there were no Arabs in existence, and the whites were barely out of the caves), is that those whom we introduced to civilization, simply took our ideas and inventions, repackaged and ''rebranded'' them, and having invested heavily in weapons of war, conquered our lands and hoisted the same learning back onto us, with just enough superficial embellishments to prevent us (or at any rate, most of us) from recognising their roots in OUR traditons.

This is why today, we have the comical spectacle of Africans, who gave the world Religion,  reduced today to embarking on ''pilgrimages'' to foreign lands to seek the Almighty AS DEFINED BY FOREIGNERS.

It is a measure of how far we have fallen.

[Osiris]

http://www.urhobo-world.org/

@rossike

NICE piece i like the way you have stitched together the history of the black madonna . . . i knew about the egyptian connection.

just ignore brainwashed individuals like @gadogado . . . he is either one of thos brainwashed muslims worshipping idols.

Notice the similarity in the excuse giving by catholics and muslims:

Accusation To Catholics: YOU ARE WORSHIPPING IMAGES OF MARY AND JESUS OTHER THINGS.

Response: No we are not worshipping them we are just honouring them

Accusation To Muslim: YOU ARE WORSHIPPING THE BLACK STONE, MOON GOD AND KABBA AND BOWING DOWN TO THE EAST.

Response: No we are not worshipping them they are jsut symbolic

@rossike

We have really fallen very very very far . . . we have basically lost everything about our history and knowledge. Almost everything pertaining to our knowledge and history is in the hands of invaders either Europeans or Arabs.

Arabized Africans and Europeanized Africans are now even our worst enemies cus they are brainwashed and do not know it and are therefore actively even sabotaging African progress . . .

There are many things about me that i don't like, however one thing about me that[b] i like a lot[/b] is that: I HAVE AN INDEPENDENT AND INQUISITIVE MIND SO MUCH SO THAT I ALWAYS TEND TO ASK QUESTIONS. I HAVE A PROBLEM CONFORMING TO DOGMA. I HAVE ALWAYS TRIED TO UNDERSTAND WHY I AM DOING SOMETHING. i HAVE ALWAYS HAD PROBLEMS FITTING INTO THE SO CALLED PROSPERITY GOSPEL AND GENERAL DOGMA IN SOCIETY.

This has helped me a lot so much so that it has helped me to overcome different stages of attempted brainwashing . . .

ONE THING THAT WORRIES ME IS THAT WHILE AFRICA IS STILL SLEEPING, THE ENEMIES (ARABS AND EUROPEANS ARE NOT SLEEPING INFACT THERE ARE DEVISING PLANS DAY AND NIGHT AS TO HOW TO CONTINUE TO TAKE OVER AFRICAN LAND AND RESOURCES)

I LOOK FORWARD TO THE DAY IN WHICH ARABS AND EUROPEANS WOULD BE DRIVING OUT OF AFRICA ONCE AND FOR ALL AND AFRICANS WOULD RETURN TO THEIR GLORY.

gadogado:

its quite obvious you dont know much about islam or abrahamic religions in general, you should learn, all the black stone and stone throwing you keep insinuating are symbolic rituals not the actual act of worship, the black stone is not God/Allah.

Your MAMA inferior, your whole Family inferior, inferior to my shit, inferior to my fart. Yes I have stooped to your level of understanding and reasoning. Thunder your yansh!! Y'all see what we got here? A real UNCLE TOM, brainwashed idiotic son of a bitch. It's your family that is inferior. The question your stupid ass should be asking is why have they written Black out of human history? Our history to them started with slavery and colonization. Not because they don't know our history but because they don't want us to know our true history. And you all have your history handed down to you by this so called white men and Arab. We knew about the universe before them, we have been around the world to build while they go around the world killing and stealing and raping. What could be more inferior than that? Son of a bitch. A black man made it possible for those that created the internet in fact a Nigerian mathematician made it possible for your inferior type to be on this forum. Why don't you know about him? Quran makes it ok to beat your wife

QURAN 4:34 – “Men have authority over women because God has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because God has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them. Then if they obey you, take no further action against them. Surely God is high, supreme.

That is coming from one of your so called superior race while in Africa beating women is forbidden until you colonized fools came it to the scene.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bpZx12-UPI&feature=related     watch that video and see what this UNCLE TOM did in the help of bringing down Africans to their knees. It's a live footage of the genocide on Ethiopians commited by the low life Arabized Somalians. When they said Africans sold Africans it was the UNCLE TOM allies of the colonies that sold Africans. I'm sure you've seen Nigerian Muslims wearing red hats with fez on it. Watch the full Documentary. Live footage of the genocide not a movie. SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!

Same thing happened in Nigeria with the Northerners being the Brit Ally in Nigeria. That's why the Brit gave them power. Not because they were any better than other Nigerians. Here is Sultan of Sokoto with Prince charles when he was invited. And you can see the red hate he's wearing even though it's covered by his turban. The Brit don't want them to opt out of Nigeria because they'll lose their control over others entirely. Why hasn't Any king in Yoruba or Igbo or other tribes in Nigeria been invited? Not like it matters but it's because they (Brits and Northern rulers) were allies during slavery and colonization and their descendants would continue the tradition. That's the royal families roll if you don't know. It'll will continue until they fall out. But history won't teach you shit!!

There you have it. The so called leader of West African Muslims and Prince charles. Don't be deceived. You'll be recolonized and enslaved if you don't know how you got into it the first time.

@ No2Atheism

Bros,  have you read THIS book, by the late Dr Chancellor Williams?

He was an African-American historian who spent nearly 20 years doing field studies in Africa for this book. It is an amazing read, which traces the history of the blacks from the heights of Egyptian glory, to the depths of the present day, showing us HOW and WHY the blacks, who were for thousands of years the leading race on the planet, came to be the most oppressed and despised of all the races.

Every African and black person should have this book in their collection.

How come they were singled out for this treatment. The Saudis must have experienced something from the Nigerians.

It is actually silly that Abati is trying to justify this bad behaviour. Is it because he hates anything that is Arab/Muslim? I wonder what he would have said if Nigerians did this in a western nation. What is bad is bad.

Islam is a lie used by Arabs to propagate their socio political agenda . . . hence why fulanis also use the same trick in northern nigeria to rule over people as their so called religious leaders in form of emirs, MOON GOD, STAR AND MOON CRESCENT, BLACK STONE, STONING THE DEVIL, GOING ROUND THE KABBA A NUMBER OF TIMES, BOWING DOWN TOWARDS THE EAST . . . Catholism is also a lie from obvious evidence of idolatory and blatant changing of the bible to suit their needs.

You are the one who needs to stop idol worship of the moon god, black stone, stoning the devil and false water cleansing . . .

You are the one who needs to realise that you have been deceived from birth . . . islam is not about salvation even mohammed told you all muslims have to pass through hell and then get tested there . . . .meaning that nothing you do here matters if you fail that so called test.

This in itself tells you that your so called false prophet knew nothing about what he was proposing to you.

Arabs would never tell you the truth
Europeans would never tell you the truth.

You need to discover the truth yourself and then decide if you want your own children to also believe in something you cannot substantiate or whether you want your children to be free of brainwashing.

did the Quran say you can beat your wife or not? Did it order the death of those who chose not to believe or not?Did Mohamad say fever and high body temperature is coming from hell or not? Was Mohamed a Pagan before he started Islam or not? Was the Pagan religion he was practicing circled around Allah and his three daughters or not? What are you Muslims proud of?. Who were refered to as Abeed (Slaves of Allah) in the Quran.

You can wonder where the problem is coming from if you don't want to challenge your holy book. Challenge it and you'll won't have to wonder where the problem is originating from.

Most of them cannot otherwise they would have a nervous breakdown . . . that is why it is highly discouraged for muslims to ask questions. Cus their leaders know that the more questions they ask the more they would lose their muslim faith cus the more they would realise that something is fundamentally wrong with islam.

Catholicism also does not like catholics to ask questions . . . so do not be suprised that islam is also doing the same.

Its astounding that muslims do not realise that there was no quran during the time of mohammed and that after his death. . . there were many different versions of the quran that had to be destroyed so as not to make islam look confused.

The pilgrims are just typical Nigerians who out of frustration act in violent ways. We can blame the Saudi authorities as expected but we may also start to think they could have acted due to previous experience with Nigerians. Why do you think you can send money to Nigeria through the western Union but cannot send money outta Nigeria through it. They learnt the bitter way.

So Oh you Atheists, i can feel the heat of ur argument like i was in front of u. You call urself free thinkers but are really like the blindfolded or the mindblocked ones. And what happened to the woman after that? I want my right to be who ever I chose to be no matter who is ruling the world. Who rules this world religiously is none of my business as far as it doesn't affect or threaten my freedom in any way. But with Islam I have no other choice to be who I want unless it's under Allah. It's there in your Quran to kill infidels if they don't testify that Allah is the only god.
