The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has formally declared the candidate of the All Progressives Party, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, as winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Ondo State. The Returning Officer, Prof. Abdul-Ganiyu Ambali, told newsmen in Akure that Akeredolu polled 244, 842 votes to beat his closest rival, Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party who garnered 150, 380 votes. http://skytrendnews.com/2016/11/27/inec-formally-names-akeredolu-winner-ondo-polls/
