Good move , all states should adopt this law, I know Edo state has a similar law and the senate has been considering death penalty for Kidnappers since May of this year. Urgent Action needs to be taken as this crime turning out to be an epidemic. With over 100 kidnappings monthly nationwide no one is safe.

You have a point here. I will suggest that same death sentence be extended to those that kidnap their victims, whether their victim dies or not. The psychological torture their victims go through in their hands, ie enough for them to equally receive death sentence than life imprisonment.
