I think if you are old enough to accept the responsibility (financial, maturity, empathy, etc) that comes with caring and raising a family, then you are old enough to marry. That could be 16 or 60.

I think it is an individual thing.

That could mean being rich to some people, and i think as long as the man has enuf money to put a roof on his head, and has extra room under that roof, when the man can feed himself and another mouth and still can afford to buy diapers and feed a little baby, then, he is capable.
Please note i said feed the little baby, cos the woman cld take in anytime and the man must be a man and step up to the plate to make sure the baby is well taken care of.
