Give them your undivided attention

They hate it when you look into your Iphone while dinner is going on or when they talk to you, it makes them feel as if the phone is more important than they are. Make eye contact and avoid interruption.
Also, knowing what they like to eat without having to ask them demonstrates how well you know your partner.
Celebrate
Anniversaries, Birthdays, Annual celebrations: If this person is the love of your life, shouldn’t you want to celebrate and make a big deal out of your relationship milestones? You can do this in any way that suits you both; the important thing is to show that other person how much having them in your life means to you.
Go out for dinner
Maybe you two like going out for dinner and do prefer that to eating in. Just make sure you take them somewhere they will love. Again, this doesn’t mean it has to be a cliché. If this means they’ll be having garlic breath for the next three days, well then you’ve just proven your sacrificial love even more.
