Ive been out of cyprus for almost 2 years
And i kept mailing near east uni to freeze my semester but the kept adding fees and fines to the tune of 6900 euros
I complained but they were saying that that’s the amount.
And i was doing a course in Nigeria now i have finished the course and I registered at ciu as transfer from my school in Nigeria, im due to arrive cyprus next month
Will it cause a problem for me at the airport?
Hope i wont get deport because i cant afford to pay 7000eurs
Should I withdraw from near east before coming?
Please i need your advice

Did you collect your original documents from NEU before you left ?

You would have terminated your admission since you knew you won’t be returning to NEU, that would save you.

Yeah you can withdraw but you need to pay your debt to get your original certificate. You can send any of your friend in Cyprus to their registrar office to follow up for you.

You won’t have problems at Ercan but is advisable to cancel your NEU admission properly when you arrive.

No.. You will be tested here


You can do the tests to know your status but it is not a requirement

Yea registration will still be on then.. and for house rate, it depends on the house you want and how many roommates you want to stay with, rent in girne is around 450 -500 pounds for a 3+1(3bedroom) ... So divided by the number of roommates.. Happy Travels ...

For a PhD student, it will be part-time and salary is relatively okay. For PhD holder, it will be Full-time!
