Oh! Now you can look beyond an apparent reason for your idea of a 'real' reason! When people said the drama against Saraki was political, y'all said a new Sheriff was in town to fight corruption! This thing is very simple. They want him to compromise his stance on some corruption cases before they confirm him. That's the reason for closed or secret screening. Magu has refused hence their refusal to confirm him. I suspect they will they get the SSS DG to create a fictional security report on him and eventually remove him as EFCC head.
You can't step on toes in Nigeria and have friends. In fact the more friends you have as a politician or political office holder in Nigeria, the more compromised you are.
