We also wore light green jerseys at Korea-Japan 2002, for the exact same reason; temperature and visibility.

Having a bright colored jersey is beneficial for the player visibility of each other on the pitch.

We are Africans the dark green colored jersey is way too dark.

As for those saying wetin concern coach with jersey..thats the difference between a European and a damn African...even if the jersey whack , African no go talk- low self esteem, how local man go wan tell NIKE a whole international company wetin to do...
But the European will say his mind as long as he has an opinion....he will not say "its ok" to ANYTHING...he will step out and call a spade a spade...
By extension this is one of the reasons why all African countries will continue to be third world, too much silence...you will be surprised about how something as mundane as jersey design can affect the comfort of a coach....

If the coach has eye problem, the sensible thing is for him to see the optician or pray about it, not to change jersey. If his eye problem deteriorate, he might soon suggest that they play naked.
