Please I want to clarify something here. At no time did the FG make it illegal for public servants to fly first class, that kind of thinking is just ridiculous. Its like the FG saying you can only wear red boxers. What the FG said is that public servants applying for travel allowances can no longer collect travel allowance for first class. They can only collect allowances for coach. The FG will not pay for first class. Simple. So if you're a public servant and you have the money to fly first class without applying for travel allowance from the government, its very legal and its also your right.

Any discerning mind can see the desperation of the Senate and their collaborators in the Presidency to find something to hang on Magu. Hence, the petty lies. In a situation where many of the people being prosecuted by EFCC are people that can afford to pay him Millions of dollars to get off the hook, they are talking about rent fees, 1st class ticket and the rest. Now that Premium Times have done diligent investigation and found those craps to be untrue, let's await the Senate's next line of action.

What where the facts when NASS alleged corruption as a reason for not confirming the EFCC boss. In fact, NASS allegations where not even known until now.

One thing that comes across as unfair was failure of the senate to confront Magu with the allegations against him and therefore give him the opportunity to defend himself (therefore denying him his fundamental human right to fair hearing) they instead chose to quickly accept the DSS report on its face value without further scrutiny.
