Hello Pals, please some one should help me out with HP 530 laptop. the problem is that d system is encountering problem during booting, even when i tried booting from optical disk drive, it keeps bouncing back with this msg. "BOOTMGR is missing, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart". Rach trial always ending with the same msg. please guys, prompt support will b highly appreciated.

BOOT MGR is a boot file needed for a successful boot process. its stored in the hard drive. if the hard drive is crased or corrupted, ur system will not boot.

when u said booting from disk drive, did u put a cd/dvd containing installation files for the os? i.e windows 7 8 or 10 cd/dvd?

yes Sir, I tried booting from a DVD containing window 7 OS, but d situation remains d same

have u solve the prob? If no, that system need setup, go to bios set up, look for the native mode, if u met it on disable mode, enable it and vice- versa, i had same experience and dats aw i got it done

1. Check and confirm that your hard drive Interface cables are securely connected. Remove the hard drive and reconnect it firmly.

2. Perform a clean installation of your preferred operating system.

3. Replace the hard drive and install a new copy of your preferred operating system.

Hello! I had a similar issue and its very easy to solve.Your hard disk drive is fine.it just the boot files as someone above me said is corrupt and needs to be repaired.

There are many ways to resolve your issue.Without losing your files download boot repair disk.iso over 500mb and rufus (Latest version but not the portable one).You will need a 1gb or more USB drive and a friend's laptop.

Convert the iso downloaded into a bootable USB drive using Rufus on your friend's laptop.Then connect and boot from USB on your laptop by pressing F9 sometimes F10 or F12 depending on the HP model.It will load into a form of Linux after selecting English. You will see the option repair boot mgr ( recommended) and some other option click on repair boot and reboot.it will ask for internet to download the boot file not that much and reboot.

it will boot!
