Never again would we go back to the time when Boko Haram ran riots in our streets, ransacking military barracks, and bombing our capital city whilst a President sipped ogogoro. Never again would money meant for funding our troops be diverted into corrupt hands whilst our troops die in battle due to no equipment. Buhari rode to power on the back of a promise to end the Boko Haram scourge and to address corruption. He has done both. The next phase is to sort out the mess in an economy devastated by donkey years of misrule. It will take time, but we will get there in the end. 3 Likes |
