Two died in the space of hours? I can't comprehend how awful these news are. Something like this happened in LAUTECH last year. A 400l student slumped and was taking to the health Centre, only to be told there was no oxygen. This is bad, practically inhumane. It put lives of students into jeopardy if we can't trust school health Centre. God in His mercy will grant these bereaved families the fortitude to bear these irreparable losses.

No doctor to attend to her in a teaching hospital? This country truly stinks!

I seriously doubt this. there is no way a teaching hospital with more than 500 doctors will not have doctors on call EVEN on Christmas. during my internship days in AKTH kano; as a Muslim I was on call during Sallah and I dare not stay in my duty post!

I believe its high time we desist from writing false stories true the student died but stating that no doctor was around on duty is totally uncalled for.for your information the hospital was overfilled with no bed spaces even for a surgical case that was brought from town that is aside the accident victims that the road safety brought as well, if the doctors were not around will the patients be brought there?
I know most people hate doctors with a passion but for this case , they were well on ground in the emergency unit that day.
