Fayemi deserves no salary and pension with his stupid attitude. How will Fayose pay over #3b during this period at the detriment of Ekiti people. I think Federal govt should send all the salary and entitlement of fayemi to Ekiti state govt to serve as a lesson to other overzealous governor in the country.

Where are you from? So Fayose should use the monthly allocation plus IGR to settle politicians instead of using same for paying salaries.

Come to think of it, Fayemi that used the funds originally meant for them to play politics is now untouchable as he has turned to saint.

Fayose even did what some governors can not do at this present time. This is not about obeying court judgement, but about availability of funds. No governor can afford that bulk payment now, the earlier they agree to negotiate, the better for them before the new years drought meets that money.

F****K Supreme Court Order!
Politicians serves the country for just 4yrs, they are receiving compensation in hundreds of million.

Other Nigerians serves the country for 10yrs+, and they receive stipend in compensation, a cash that can not even buy a golf4 car.

The 16 former Ekiti Local Government chairmen sacked by former Gov. Kayode Fayemi have rejected the N35 million offered by Gov. Ayodele Fayose out of the N3.3billion owed them.

Mr Ogunbiyi Olasunakanmi-Synergy, who led the sacked chairmen, made the rejection known at a news briefing on Thursday in Abuja.

The Town Crier recalls that the Supreme Court had on Dec. 9 ordered the state government to pay the chairmen and Councillors N3.3 billion as compensation.

In a unanimous judgment read by Justice Chima Nweze, the Supreme Court held that the sack by Fayemi was illegal and unconstitutional.

Olasunakanmi-Synergy said that an attempt to subvert the Supreme Court’s judgment would be resisted by “the good people of Ekiti’’ and called on Fayose to obey the verdict of the apex court.

He said that violating the Supreme Court would amount to a total disregard to the judgment of the court.

“All the local government chairmen between 2008 and 2010 met today and unanimously rejected the governor’s offer because accepting such offer will be tantamount to disobeying the Supreme Court,’’ he said.

He said that any negotiations from the governor should be done through the association’s lawyer, Mr Obafemi Adewale.

He called on the governor to act in the interest of the people who served the state “meritoriously’’.

The former chairman, therefore, said that denying them their benefit would not augur well for the members.

These chairmen was not sacked by fayose but by the former Governor and current minister of solid Minerals Dr kayode Fayemi....under Apc....not pdp led government.....why didnt supreme court expedient action and deliver its judgement when Fayemi was still Governor....suddenly after being bribed by Apc govt they deliver its judgement..and now fayose is carrying the blame of what he didnt know about....fayose should not be blame...fayemi and supreme court should be blamed.....if fayose refuses to pay they will say he is not obeying court order....how many court order has Apc govt obeyed.....these chairmen should collect what they see and...blame APC
