International Observers To Monitor IPOB Leader Kanu’s Court Session by natruebdiz: 7:16pm On Dec 30, 2016
The Indigenous People of Biafra on Friday said international observers would monitor the court session of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, coming up on January 10, 2017.

The group called on its supporters and freedom fighters to be in court that day to see things for themselves.

In a press statement made available to our correspondent in Awka, Anambra State by IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, the group said among those that would observe the court session in Abuja were International Human Rights Groups, International Media organisations, and other foreign observers.

The group maintained that it had concluded arrangements with such foreign bodies.

The statement read in part, “All Indigenous People of Biafra family members are expected to be in Abuja on that day 10th of January 2017.

“This is to let the world know how formidable and resolute we are towards ensuring that justice is done in the case of our leader and to remind the world that the restoration of our God-given nation called Biafra is irreversible and on course.

“Therefore, we are expecting the entire members of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Biafrans that reside in Abuja and its environs to be in court on that fateful day in Abuja to witness the court proceedings of the case between our leader and Muhammadu Buhari….”

It was so for South Africa's ANC; seemingly hopeless begining. John Dube, the founder of ANC was ridiculed, mocked by whites as well as some lilly livered blacks in 1912. Few decades down the line, the political and pressure group became almost the most formidable in the world...And emancipation was achieved.

IPOB has long term vision and determination like the ANC. It's members seem to be aware of the protracted nature of the struggle and are quite dug in for the long haul.

In the rank and file of the legendary ANC were die-hard disciples such as Albert litulu, Govan Mbeki, Walter Sisulu, Oliver Tambo. IPOB, in the same mold, has such minds as Barrister Emma, Mmezu, Engineer Clifford Iroanya, Engineer Uche Mmefor, Ejike Asiegbu etc.. and the thousands of the die-hards ready to take the struggle to the next level. Interesting times ahead.

What justice are you talking about young man? Can you explain to me what "treasonable felony" he committed. Stop the hatred for an innocent man and focus on your life and how to tell your Oga to deliver the change he promised us.

he is a felon for illegally broadcasting hate messages to his flag carrying dummies.
he was caught on tape soliciting for funds to kill other tribes.

To spoil the whole thing, he entered Nigerian shores illegally without passport, he smuggled himself into the country with dangerous weapons

That my friend is even more than felony.. he would have died since in countries like China and North korea or core muslim states

Justice must prevail

I'm sorry for some who get jittery whenever Biafra is mentioned. They can't hide their obnoxious feelings because they don't know what their fate will be when biafrans get their freedom. Keep hating and ranting online until you wake up to discover to your chagrin that your fears have come to your doorsteps. All hail Biafra!

cool Ideally the presence of external observers should not sway justice one way or the other. The task of the federal prosecutors is to show that Kanu is indeed guilty of treasonable felony while Kanu's lawyers will have to show that the evidence presented does not prove the government's case. If Kanu is found innocent it will not be because some external observers were there. And if Kanu is found guilty there is nothing these observers can do to change that. cool
